Then pull the rope to break the wax, and out comes the message!

Welcome! You know, I've noticed quite a lot of couples that get married in Jamaica at resorts, and it's a much lower-key affair than what I've seen in other countries. Seems to be much more intimate, and from pics it looks like couples with few to no guests have chosen this route. LOTS of pics and info on here, have fun checking it all out!

Hi, just to add, I stopped taking the pill 2 years ago, and I still don't have a regular period. Sometimes it shows up every 4 weeks, sometimes every 2 months! Since I am not TTC at all (Doug had a vasectomy many moons ago after his daughter was born) we're not worried about it, but I don't think there is any truth to the rumor about no period/no baby. I think all it means is you could still release an egg but don't have a period (which is just the sloughing off of the "padding" for a fertilized egg anyways, right?) So basically you could have no period but become pregnant and have no need for a period, does that make sense?? Anyone, feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken! Also thought I should fill in, I was on it for 12 yrs solid.

I agree with the rest so far, it's hard when you are looking at yourself, you only see what you think you look like, not what others see. And I bet your FI will be so blown away by how awesome you look! Do you have pics we can see?

Thanks to Morgan I was able to make these Thank-You photobooks for our parents for less than $7.00 total, including shipping! I used two coupon codes and just had to pay shipping, it was like $3.24 for each book. They are a 5x7 Casual Photobook, and we are going to give them to our parents the day we get married. Oh Kate have I got an earful for you! I am in almost your exact same situation (sort of! just search my name and read my threads/posts) We are having a huge 200 guest(what i call) BFW (big fake wedding) at home in Seattle, then a small legal wedding in Hawaii a few days later (my SRW, small real wedding). In our case we wanted to have ALL of our family and friends "see" us get married at home, too many people and lots of small kids and older folks who wouldn't be able to travel as easy. So we decided to "fake" it and have a big ceremony and reception at home, and our legal DW (what we really wanted in the first place) in Hawaii, that way every one is happy! Lots of girls have had AHR (at home receptions) even months later after the DW. Any Q just ask, we're glad to have another HI bride! PM me if you want to chat!

hi ladies! hope you don't mind my jumping in where i don't belong, but i just wanted to say, i hope that you band together to let this company it seems at least 3 of you are/were using know that the way they are treating you is very unfair! it almost seems like they are running a show on you. make sure to let them know how big your voice is (all together), and that you have contact with a lot of other UK brides (as well as worldwide, that's a lot of lost business!) whom you will not be recommending to their business. if they don't keep to their word or contract, that is really poor form. PS, love the doggies! very cute!
