  1. FYI- asking for someone to email you an attachment you don't have enough points to open is a bannable offense. to those that asked, please consider this your one and only warning. if you need help with the forum rules, you can click on the FAQ's link in my siggy.
  2. saw your fb post and came straight here to see what was up! it's a really cute dress, tell T too bad you're getting it anyways!! seriously, have you tried forever21? look on their website, they have really cute dresses at throw-away prices...
  3. haha pazz, that about sums it up for me too i watch "say yes" allll the time on dvr, and it makes me SO mad that they go in back and talk down the brides who cant afford $5k, or that want a certain style even if they dont think it makes them look right. i watched an older episode last night, the bride was more mature but had always dreamed of a ball gown style, but was on a $2k budget. her mom wanted her in a slimmer style, so instead of showing the bride the dresses she wanted (which cost more) they kept putting her in slimmer gowns that cost less. if they really didnt have a single ball gown in her price, they should have told her so she didnt waste her time! it was so rude of them. i kept yelling at the tv saying "go to davids bridal where you can have a ball gown for way less than $2k!!!" anyways, erin just clued me in to 4 weddings this past week but i havent caught one yet. i need to remember to search it so i can dvr it!! it sounds really fun

  8. thats the beauty of a DW, you can do whatever the heck YOU want dont worry about what is "right" or who will "care". what it comes down to is if you and FI are happy with your decisions. the one big thing i learned from having a DW is that there are always ways to satisfy everyone, without comprimising your ideas and what you want. if you guys dont want to do formal invites, you could do casual newsletter invites stating that there will be no formal invite, and one or 2 more updates sent thruout the year as you get more pertinent info to give out. really you could do the mass "inviting" however you want, but you can also do something like buy a box of 20 inexpensive invites from Michaels or wherever, and send those off to the most important people in the group, like grandmas and parents or other people who would be more likely to "have an issue" with the non-traditional route. that way you are still saving $ but make everyone happy too...
  9. And they're off! Let the voting begin!
  10. super cute! its crazy how much it looks like you guys! very cool
  11. i dont think there is any set rule, personally tho ive always thought of the 2nd band as an anniversary band, purchsed at the same time but to be worn after the first anniversary. BUT you could wear one band and then the e-ring thru the ceremony, and then have hubby place the 2nd band on your finger when the time to put the ring on happens. either way, most likely you will already have had the rings on because of pictures prior to the ceremony, so you might even forget to take them off! here is a secret: i actually forgot to put mine ON during pics, so in half of my wedding pics i look unmarried

I printed out the program and thought maybe it would give an idea of pace, but it doesn't and I suppose it's different for everyone, but was wondering everyone's thoughts on this. It will start to count down over the music when it's time to switch it up. Go Nicole Yourself!: Couch to 5k Podcast Page Happy running girls!! 17. doug and i started this yesterday! ive been wanting to do it for a while but its so much more fun with a partner, so im glad doug decided to join me! even tho he is much more in shape than i am and runs faster, etc. towards the end i turned around and met back up with him so we could end together and not have to keep running to find each other! i didnt read this whole thread, but did anyone else get the C25K app, the green one with the sguiggle runner man on the pic? LOVED IT!!!!! oh wow it helped so so so much! i actually cheered when the halfway audible alert sounded hahahaha , and whenever it told me "ding ding ding, WALK" i yelled "woohoo!"
