  1. Ahh, now I know I REALLY need to step up my invite-making process! My timeline says 2 months prior to my wedding date-send out invites! This date would be May 11! Thanks for the heads up.

  3. jeez, thats a tough one to google! apparently a lot of things have been "translated into over 30 languages". except the word "love" in a nice, easy to read list.
  4. nah, i would say save them $, unless you have to order in lots of 25 or whatever, then you'll have the extras anyways

BUT- it would be nice to just do it and add another "check-check" to the long-ass list of To-Do's!
  6. I'm nervous to pay everything in advance 'cause (bad me!) I don't like to count my eggs before they hatch. When I get stressed I have a hard time staying positive, and I start worrying about all kinds of things. Like what if (Good God forbid) a natural disaster happens and my venue is no longer available. I would lose all my money! (I know I always worry about totally stupid things because like this because our contracts say things like "except in the event of acts of God blah-blah-blah" so of course I freak out about it.)
  7. Mrs.-Drea-for always working so hard on "SecretXX" stuff, even when sick as a dog BtB- Yari-for always being so positive and sweet to other members
  8. Wow! All good QQ, I'll just start with my general opinions on the book, and then follow along with everyone from there I read this book a year or so ago, and then again when we started for the club. I found it funny that both times I was surprised by the twists, you would think I would have remembered and saw them coming! A lot of people who saw me reading this book commented how they couldn't get into it because of the angle coming from Susie's , uh, "alternate afterlife". This didn't bother me, but I see how it might be troubling to some. I actually liked how we get to see things from her perspective throughout. Anyways, I wouldn't say I "enjoyed" reading this book, because the subject is sad and troubling, but it was interesting to read and kept my attention. I don't think it was really a page-turner, per say, but I liked reading it and was glad of the way it turned out. My favorite part was how Mr. Harvey got his in the end. I like how it seemed that Susie got to have a hand in his demise
  9. Jennifer, they are amazing! I really like the little shell and starfish pics you use as bullets, so cute! Did you make these yourself?!
  10. I am so excited for you! Can't wait to hear all about it OK: Back to topic!
  11. Hi! Welcome to the forum!
  12. What a great story! So romantic!
  13. The only reason I don't want to do this is because (NO JOKE) my mom still has a stack of these (from when she married my dad) hanging out in her napkin drawer in the kitchen, mind you this is thru 3 moves, and over 35 years, divorcing my dad, and a new marriage! So I'm thinking I don't want any napkins hanging out ay my house in 35 yrs, haha! BUT, there are some very cute ones out there, and I did think about it until I remembered the ones at Mom's I had to make fun of her. Just throw them away already

Helen, I just wanted to say Thanks. I wish all mom's were as active and vigilant in their kids lives as you!
  15. Welcome Susan! We also have a thread for Hawaii brides, but there are so few of us right now compared to the Mexico girls that we don't have a ton of info. Hopefully you can help us add to it! I think Maui is the winner for most of the Hawaii girls.
  16. I know, I always find myself double checking the dates, cause I've done it myself! Oops!

  19. I think this is probably from the same article you found: A website is under construction. For further information, you can send an email to marco(at)thebeachhousepv.com Choosing a Puerto Vallarta Wedding Venue From Trip advisor Forums: Posted on: 10:42 pm, March 21, 2008 The weather is perfect ... highs in the low 80s, no humidity and nice breeze ... lows in the mid 60s ... no jacket needed. Had lunch at a new place today next to El Dorado called the Beach house ... good food and wonderful staff ... just opened two months ago. That's pretty much all I could find as well. Hope it helps!
