my mom has it for her shi tzu and is very happy she got it. he has some itchy skin allergy thing (sorry, dont know what it's called) and has had to take him in many times for shots and tests and all kinds of other stuff. she says having the insurance has helped take some of the ouch out of the bill paying. we don't have it for our cats and dogs tho, they are all indoor animals and in good health so far (knock on wood!!) so we havent had to think about getting it ourselves.

melissa, that is just awful so sad. i understand that your family is feeling bad about not having been there for him in the past, but what you guys should remember is that you are here for him now. maybe back then wasn't his time to need all of your support, but he can sure use it this time around! i bet he is very grateful to have all of you back in his life now. just be strong for him, and don't treat him any differently. when you talk to him, tell him honestly how bad you think this sucks and that you love him and that you'll help him get thru it. just be a constant support system for him. sending hugs and best wishes to you and your family!

Well, sorry to dissapoint (sp? that's always a hard one!) you all, but we got rained out. We rescheduled for next Thursday, a week from now. Boo I'm upset, BUT not gonna flip out or anything . Next week is "supposed" to be nicer anyways, so there could be a reason! I'll update next week.
