(sorry, dont know your real name yet!) that really helps with the visual and the length, i like the length of the shorter piece, and that should be the 20'' part, so i'm thinking 18" might be where it's at for me. i'm only 5'3" so i dont have a super long neck or back. thanks!

  7. oh stephanie! i'm so excited for you! and the best part about an at home wedding, no travel stress and pics and a review right away! (ok maybe that last one was wishful thinking!) take your time and ENJOY every moment together!
  8. oh melissa! i'm so sad i feel like we're losing a good friend. i'll miss reading your posts. thanks for sharing and caring with all of us for so long, and i hope you change your mind and at least pop in occasionally when you're bored. good luck with everything!
  9. our song is over 4 min! and doug wants the whole thing to play without a dj invite for other couples to join us! ahhhhhh! people might get bored and leave in that amount of time! we had an earthquake that was just under a minute before. do you know how long that REALLY is? haha

I already told her I won't dress up more than likely. She got all snotty saying "Why cause your MARRIED now?" phbbttt...whatever. ha, you need to dress in a business suit type of thing and wear glasses, then just tell her you got confused by the "corporate" part. and then, knowing you and how much you like your drink by the end of the night you'll probably have a hot-sexy-librarian thing going on! unbuttoned suit jacket or somethin.
  13. congrats, soon to be second-cousin! that's fun! how far along is she?

It fell around my shoulders. i tried a couple of their blushers on as well, but they felt too long. they weren't exatly what i wanted, but it's because of them i'm determined to get a more simple, plain one than what i've got. 16. for our at home wedding we are going to have a big sombrero, you know how the big wide brim rolls upwards? we're going to put a few "sample" envelopes in it, like with our names written on it, so people know what it's for. does that make sense?
  17. steph oh my gosh! get off here already and go get married why dontcha! i'm so excited to hear all about it! ok sorry for the hijack!
  18. first of all, yes it's too much, BUT unfortunately that's how is usually goes. i paid about $250, because of all the pickups in my skirt, the way they created the bustle they made 16 more pickups and it cost so much to do that. i cant see your pics cause i'm at work, but i'm sure its gorgeous!
  19. thanks for sharing! you looked beautiful, and i LOVE the color of your BM dresses, so bright and fresh!
