booked 4 hair appts, cut, hair trial, partial foil, and day of styling! yay! bought a couple of OOT gifts for our cabo guests, and found aqua colored plastic tumblers from target, 6/$1.99! i need to get a paint pen and DIY like morgan's, very cute! so proud of myself, i'm just about done with all the printing parts of my BFW invites, we got the wallet size pics from the photog on saturday (unexpectedly early!) and i just have to print up the map/directions jason is designing for me on the insert cards, cut out all the inserts (less than an hours work), and stuff my invites and mail! pretty much done with that, i'm thinking we'll mail them out by friday, latest! woohoo! started on my boarding pass invites, for our cabo guests, but i need to re-do it in powerpoint, so much easier. having trouble getting the palm tree font that i want to print out.. oh well, i'll figure it out! i still have so much to do but nearing the end of the invite process feel REALLY good, like i'm actually accomplishing something! those were the only time sensitive things on the list, the rest doesnt matter WHEN it gets done, as long as it gets done before july 11!

i took calligraphy in high school, but sorry to say, it did not help my chicken scratch so glad BDW is typing! woohoo! i should be a doctor, writing illegible prescriptions all day. yours will be great tho! fantastic start!

i heard about this, and the same day i heard about it, on ellen she announced she was going to get married and i actually cried! it's such an emotional, huge issue, and i'm so happy that it's being addressed in a positive way. it's long past time for this awesome change!

I'm making my boarding pass invites for the people going to Mexico with us, and I've got them all set up perfect, everything looks great! For the pic of the palm trees in the middle, I used the font wmtrees, and when I print the boarding pass, everything except the palm trees shows up! What am I doing wrong? I would post a pic but I'm at Doug's parents. I'm using Word 97. Also I can't figure out how to attach it here, it says invalid file type. Thanks!

if you are connecting to an intl flight on the same carrier, we advise you check in 2 hrs prior due to needing the extra time to enter your passprt info, etc. if you have already called ahead of time to do that, then you could give yourself less time. the main thing to remember about any check in advisory is that the amount of time is based on how long the airline thinks it will take you to get thru security, not necessarily the amount of time you will need to actually check in. basically, if you are able to do web check-in, and if you've already called to get your passport info entered, just show up long enough to get your bags checked and wait in security.
