how fun this was resurrected! i was just at target and got some great aqua colored tumblers, and i posted in the july brides thread that i was gonna go all a'la'morgan on them! then i went to my local michaels to get a paint pen, and they are moving and 3/4 of the items have been moved but you can't go to the new store to buy them till june 1 so either i'll have to wait or drive farther to get them, or i guess i could try joann's.

ok so it sounds like the only fraud part is that they are using bigger-better companies names to advertise themselves. but it seems as if their price/products are legit. so as long as you know this, and are comfortable supporting a company that uses fraudulant means to advertise, then yay! sorry rach

i found that on the nordstom website when i put in to search for "e.l.f.". weird! i know it was last year, but made me nervous for you girls. are you ordering directly off the eyeslipsface site? or nordstrom.com?

gosh that is scary and i can certainly understand why people would be worried, however, when you look at the statistics, it seems irrational to be afraid given that the events were completely random and spaced out so far apart. i tend to think of it like this, one day you see a volkswagon jetta, and think to yourself how much you like it, maybe you'll buy one someday. then all of a sudden, you start seeing them EVERYWHERE you look, and wonder why you never noticed before. kind of an obscure comparison, BUT my point is, that people get murdered in mexico, it happens, its random, and it just so happens some of the people are canadian. the only reason you are noticing it is because the media is drawing attention to it. if they wouldnt have reported it, your friends and family wouldnt be worried about it. make any sense?

ooh, wait, that just gave me an idea for dessert nachos! using those cinnamon crisp things like from a mexican restaurant. drool.
