  1. we did ours about 6 months before the wedding. the one we did was for a year, and i wanted to be able to update it with pics after the wedding, etc.
  2. steph! sending out big hugs to you and wishes for a speedy recovery!
  3. ok, i think #2 is great on her as well, but something about #1 just makes it so gorgeous on her, i think the lace/ribbon combo. it accents her perfectly!
  4. trust me, the sooner the better plus, you can keep an eye on the fare, and if the airline introduces a lower fare between now and then, you can call to see if it is the same fare class as the tickets you purchased, but with a lower price, and if it is they will refund the difference to you.
  5. wow heidi, chills! that was awesome! what was that song? love it, did she tell you who/what it was? you two are such a gorgeous couple!! and reggie, were you really breakdancing, that is so cool
  6. haha, jamy if only i could tell you how i really feel personal feelings against the company i work for aside, i do think it's great that we are starting to offer hawaii flights, they are ALWAYS full, so obviously it was a good move. also i think its cool we are starting MSP service, it offers those girls an alternative connection/airline on their way to the western part of mexico, and hawaii as well. plus, now i can finally go check out the mall of america on an overnight trip!
  7. why did it look like they had 2 ceremonies? was one a dress rehearsal? (no pun intended!)
  8. haha, i thought it would be an attention grabber
  9. are you worried about someone thinking about this when they see it ? sorry, i couldn't resist but i do think that if you used a larger font for the middle letter, in a coordinating color like you suggested, that it would be just fine. if someone thinks funny of it, then they need to get their head out of the gutter oops, that might be me
  10. Alaska launching service to Minneapolis and Kona New routes part of network evaluation to serve the most profitable markets May 20, 2008 Alaska Airlines today announced it will inaugurate service between Seattle and Minneapolis and Seattle and Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. The airline also announced it is expanding its seasonal service between Anchorage and Maui. The flights will be available for purchase starting May 22. Alaska Airlines will offer year-round twice-daily flights between Seattle and Minneapolis starting Oct. 26, and year-round once-a-day service between Seattle and Kona beginning Nov. 17. Seasonal flights between Anchorage and Kahului on the island of Maui are increasing from twice to three times weekly from Oct. 31 to April 25, 2009. Minneapolis, along with twin city St. Paul, are known for their lakes, Scandinavian heritage, arts and culture and the Mall of America, which includes an indoor amusement park. For the new service, Seattle-Minneapolis flights will depart at 6:50 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Pacific Time and arrive at 12:05 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. Central Time, respectively. Return flights will depart at 7:40 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. Central Time and arrive at 9:15 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Pacific Time, respectively. Seattle-Kona flights will depart at 8:40 a.m. Pacific Time and arrive at 1 p.m. Hawaii Time. Return flights will depart at 2 p.m. Hawaii Time and arrive at 9:40 p.m. Pacific Time. Alaska will operate the flights with Boeing 737-800s. Vendors will provide below-the-wing service at the two new stations and customer service agents will likely be staffed through partnerships with other airlines, however, Harrison said those details “will be sorted out in the next five months.” To inaugurate its new service, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory one-way fares of $139 between Seattle and Minneapolis and $229 between Seattle and Kona. Customers must purchase their tickets by June 5, 2008, and travel by Feb. 12, 2009. Additional restrictions and blackout dates apply. Alaska Airlines Vacations also offers a full line of vacation packages for travel to the Big Island of Hawaii, as well as to Oahu, Kauai and Maui. Packages include air transportation, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and tours. In addition, Alaska customers can earn double Mileage Plan miles on flights between Seattle and Minneapolis from Oct. 26 to Dec. 31, 2008. To receive the double miles, customers need to register at alaskaair.com, starting May 21.

  13. She will be at Grand Coral Beach! My mom is going on a buisness trip with her husband to Cancun, and they are staying at the Fiesta Americana! If anyone would like pictures of anything, or a description of something on-site, PM me or reply here and I will get a list to her. She will be there 4 nights, June 9-13, and he will be in meetings most of the day so she will have lots of alone time to explore and get info!
  14. OMG this got bumped at the perfect time! we are looking for dougs this week! he really wants a plain titanium, and he doesnt want me to spend a lot, with his ex, he actually went thru 3 rings, lost em all. he is a mechanic at boeing and takes things like that off for work, they probably ended up getting stolen or knocked off his craftsman. so excited to see this!
  15. i like that bribe too! we LOVE our pics! and i'm so glad that we could help, i really do hope it helps to put a dent in their expenses.
  16. every time you leave one country and enter another you have to clear customs. if i'm not mistaken, this actually a worldwide procedure that applies to ANY country-to-country travel by air.
  17. yah rach, use that money to buy some steaks for your new bbq!

  19. mine is 14k WG, and you can get it rhodium dipped for life free from shane co. makes it all shiny and new looking!
  20. oh gross, but we have a year old puppy too, and he would totally do something like this, so i feel your pain! at least ours is a chihuahua so it wouldnt be quite as much upchuck as bailey's
  21. wow omg. ok, we live in seattle, wher the shane co is from, we actually got my e-ring there. my entire white gold band, including my 3/4 carat F vsi diamond was only $2,200. so i think it's insane to pay $3K for a mens plain platinum band, esp when it has no diamonds, and also because the sales lady that helped us at shane co is the one who actually talked us out of $$$ platinum down to $ WG, for the fact that altho is is becoming more popular, that is the only reason for the higher price. it scratches way easier than WG, and is not as strong. thay being said, for doug we are getting a titanium ring, way less $, and they have some that look almost identical to the milgrain edged platinum one you linked. but, if he is set on platinum, and you have that kind of money, then by all means! if not, i'm sure you can find something comparable at a much lower price, just talk him into WG or titanium.
