Unless they sell samples in size "heffer" I don't think I'm going to get that lucky. shut up girl, you're supposed to be thinking positive! I love the first one from David's Bridal. I've also seen it in store but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get it in time. and DB does rush, you have to pay a rush fee or something, i'd think it's worth a go-in, to try on and see about adding sleeve-y things and time/$.

LOL. thanks! i am really proud, altho to knock myself down a peg or two, the do look much better in pics than in person, i just wanted them done, and i got a little sloppy with my cutting, not all the edges are perfectly straight, and the insert sizes are no where near the same width but, of all 83 i'm sending, i'm sure only my BFF will notice. she's freakishly picky about stuff like that we're heading to the post as soon as i get off today. we want to have them weighed first so we know what our stamp options are, i LOVED the ones we got for our STD's, but i don't know if these are going to be quite heavy enough for a $0.90 stamp, and i want something cooler than a wedding heart or stupid flag or something so yes, SUPER excited to mail these!! and like i said, open invite to all my BDW homies! to Seattle OR Cabo!!

I have a reminder set to mail it to you, but I forgot to bring it to work yesterday or today, so I will def remember tomorrow. Here is the pictures... YAY thanks! altho i can't see the pics (at work YET again!!) but i can't wait to go home and see him! our little guy is gonna be so loved by the time you get him back!

Where did you get them? yes, clear envelopes from Paper Zone / Inspire / Design / Create, the info is in the link of the other thread. they come in a gazillion sizes, and i actually got a size bigger than i needed, oops, i got 5.25x7.25 or something similar, and they were a smidge too big on the top and side. the side i was able to fix by wrapping tighter and then sticking (you peel off a strip on the back). but to fix the top wouldnt have been worth it. i didnt realize they were a tad too big until i had already stuck all my labels on otherwise i would have run to paperzone and bought a size smaller. 12. I used PowerPoint for the inserts and the main invite card, vistaprint for the reply and photoshare cards, palm tree punch from michaels, pics from our photog. If you see any typos, keep it to yourself! They're already enclosed and ready to go! Any QQQ I didn't answer, just ask! Someone PM'd me asking this and I thought I'd post it in case anyone wondered Quote: Originally Posted by Cherielee hi i love your invites...im wondering how you have your plam tree punch...it looks silver? did you punch something out and then paint it or something and then paste it on? also where did you get the stickers to seal the envelopes? thanks for your help i didn't use stickers! but, here is what i did do: i cut the bronze text weight paper into like 1 1/2" squares, then i used the punch. then i cut like 2" squares of the parchment colored paper for backing. i used permanent adhesive tape (sort of like double stick tape but without the tape between the double sides? you know what let me just get you some pics hold on.. ok here is the adhesive and here is the square, i took this pic at a different angle so it doesnt show the shiny-ness. i used the permanent adhesive for things like sticking the bronze square to the parchment square, and then the one half of the whole square to the invite, but then the removeable adhesive on the other half of the whole square to make it so people can open it from the invite, kwim? i'm also gonna copy and post this reply in the thread in case anyone has this Q too

  17. well, it's a real store, we have one sort of near us in a city called auburn. so i dont think they're official knock-offs, but you never know. they sell clothes, but it's sort of the type of store like a Deb or Rave, not sure if anyone knows what they are, but cheap and tacky so she was really surprised that she found a dress there, and she actually loved it. she is a really picky girl and she only shops at places like gap and jcrew, so for her to be impressed is good!
  18. oh i am SOOO jealous of you AA girls and i will post pics of the invites tonight! good job on your list katrina! keep it up! and thanks for pics!
