wow lauren i've had those conversations with doug too. sometimes he gets so stressed out about $ or whatever, and he just goes all inside instead of talking about it. drives me nuts, but usually i just kill him with kindness and overkill the pretend factor. silent doesnt work for me even if i try, so i just go super overload on acting like i'm not mad at all, it usually works to bring him around, either by making him realize he's been an ass or by drawing him back out. hope k comes around soon, i'm sure he will, just try not to blow up because it doesnt look like he reacts to that.

im stuck at work for today and tomorrow, then off for 18 days! woohoo! i REALLY want to go home, but i dont think its in the cards, too many people travelling and not letting me go home, hahaha. jerks i have SO SO SO much more to do, every time i cross something off my wedding to-do list, i think of 3 more things that need to be done! ACCCKKKKK! and this weekend we ran into 3 mini-fiasco's, the grown up best man called us and said he doesnt think he will fit into the XL shirt we bought him 4 months ago. he says he will probably fit into a XXXL! OMG are you kidding me? how do you not notice putting on that much weight in the last month or so and let a person know so they have time to fix the problem? we raced all over town last night trying to find a replacement, and the only thing i could find in online at kohls. too bad it's an extra $15 for express shipping. grrrrrrrrrrr. and also one of dougs brothers told us his son (a GM) wears a mens size 5 shoe--which we needed to know in order to buy his pair of the 14 pairs of matching converse-- we ordered it and had him try them on, 2 freakin sizes too big! OMG how do you not know your kids shoe size?? we had to go in to nordstrom and re-order the right size last night, but it wont come in until the day before the freaking wedding! again, OMG!!!! WTF is wrong with people?!?! and finally, doug's other bro (who happens to be his BFF and our offciant) called to chat and when doug asked him when they are coming in (he, wife and baby--flowergirl, BTW--live in chicago) he said not until thur or fri the 10th or 11th! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!! YOU DONT FLY INTO TOWN THE DAY OF THE WEDDING WHEN YOU ARE IN IT! i am having a minor panic attack about that one. he works for american airlines, so they are flying standby, so im freaking out with all these "what-ifs". good god, what next? i guess in the grand scheme of things, these are all minor things that can be taken care of, ok unless bro doesnt get here in time for some god awful reason. breathe abbie, breathe.

wow all i got was flowers from one of my aunts no one got me any cool gifts! i was thinking tho that maybe a gift card to a hair place or nail place or something nice like that, would be along the same lines as a manicure set, only she would just go do it instead of own it??
