  1. I would definitely recommend getting some bloodwork done just to get everything checked out. If it is this regularly associated with your period, it is most likely to do with your hormone levels but always better to be overcautious and get checked out. I don't know too much about IUDs but when I was on the pill (Yaz, so 21 days of low dose pills), I had much worse PMS symptoms than I do off the pill.
  2. Edna, I am so sorry to hear that. We can certainly understand how being on the forum could be tough during this time. I hope everything works out for the best. You know we are here if you need a shoulder to cry on.
  3. Your pics are great! You looked absolutely stunning in that dress! I love Maggie Sottero dresses! I thought your ceremony site was beautiful, too. These pics are just getting me more ready for my wedding to finally get here.
  4. Nibblets checking BDW to keep up with new posts in the ferret thread! He can hardly tear himself away from the laptop!
  5. I wasn't expecting that! Cracked me the hell up! I like how he appears to be looking out the window in that first pic!! It IS just how he rolls!
  6. Well, of course, Becks & Morgan! Highly funny and entertaining! I also *heart* Maura! She is so helpful and sweet and goes out of her way to help others on the forum! And, who doesn't have a crush on Edyta's hair?
  7. I'm so glad your wedding was great, Martha! Sorry to hear that you had problems with Jazmin and really sorry to hear about your camera. At least your card is okay. And congratulations!! Woohoo Mrs!! And now you can really focus on Noah.
  8. Here are some of the jamboree pics I took with my cell phone: Setting up our campsite. The parent's RV is the one in the picture. Inside views of the RV when I didn't have to share my half with FI and my sister and BIL. In second pic, you go up 3 stairs and there is a bathroom and the master bedroom. Here is a picture of my stepdad and my mom, well into drinking mode. My stepbrother (who does screenprinting) made him the t-shirt he is wearing. These are pics of the concert site on Thursday afternonn for opening ceremonies. It gets more crowded as the sun gets lower and is more crowded on the weekend. As you can see, your territory is marked with tarps. This is done in the morning and is called the redneck run. On Friday and Saturday, the run is crazy, they open the gates and you have to run down and across the hill to get to your spot...without falling or being trampled. Rule #1: Don't fall. Rule #2: If you do fall, curl up and cover your head. This is the stage view. We are pretty much always in the same spot. If you look to the left, you see huge speaker platform next to the stage. Neal McCoy climbed to the top of the right side platform and sang. That was before he invited people from the photoline up on stage to dance with him. Around 40 people were up there. That's it for now. I will add more pictures once I get them from the other people in our group.
  9. I'm back from Jamboree (got back Sunday night)! We had a great time. My parents' RV is gorgeous (will post pics in a little bit). The weather was pretty good until some bad storms came through on Sunday (and we were out on the concert field under tarps) and dumped rain and hail on us. It also blew over several portajons, quite a few tents and several canopies. But at least it took the sun away for a little bit. My mom even got a 2 second interview on the local news coverage. She is the last one in the video clip (which is clean enough to watch at work). You can't tell in the video but the straw that is in her drink is actually a p*nis straw. That is why my stepdad (in his "sex, beer & country music" shirt) is laughing in the background. Video I will post more pics as I get them from others and put them in photobucket. I didn't bother to take any. They look the same every year except we get fatter and older.
  10. Hi there, I just saw this on the clearance section at Pier 1. Pier 1 Imports® - Furniture, Home Accents, Dining, Gifts & More It is a faux coral candleholder. It is down to $3.68 from $15. Looks cute. I don't plan on taking anything down to Mexico but for those who are and have a coral theme, I thought these looked really nice.
  11. We got a mattress topper from Costco for around $100. It has a 4in memory foam layer with a 2 inch pillow topper that goes on top. It is fabulous! My back feels much better that it used to. We do have 2 contour pillows that FI got on sale somewhere and I only use it if my neck is hurting. It seems to put my neck at the right angle and my head and neck will stop hurting sometime through the night. I highly recommend the memory foam mattress toppers. Worth the money.

And he is such a handful now that he is crawling around. First stop outlets! Then on to the cat food. I will have to update his pic soon. After jamboree!
  13. Hi everyone, Well, I will be out of the BDW loop from tonight until Sunday night. I am leaving tomorrow for Jamboree. It is a 4 day country music festival in Ohio just outside of Wheeling, WV. We will be "camping" from Wednesday until Sunday. It is considered rough camping since we are basically out in the sticks on someone's field. No running water, no electricity (unless we run the generator), and porta-johns and camping showers. Lucky for me, my parents just bought a 26ft fifth wheel with 2 slideouts. I haven't seen it yet but am looking forward to a nice clean place to relax in when the rampant sunshine the weatherman is calling for gets to be too much for my whiteness. Jamboree in the Hills 2008.:: Country Music's biggest party of the summer! is the official website. Lots of good country artists perform at the jamboree. Brad Paisley, Gary Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Neal McCoy (annual crowd favorite) and tons more. I can never remember the line-up. We take a school bus for the 5 min ride to the concert site with is an outdoor amphitheater sort of thing. So, I will be off being redneck princess for a few days and drinking like a champ with my mom, stepdad, my twin and the rest of the step-siblings and spouses. Jamboree is a special place. Anything inappropriate is perfect for jamboree. Don't worry, I will post pics when I get back. I don't usually take my digital camera (there are a lot of people with spray bottles) since I don't want it to get damaged or lost but lots of people with us do. See y'all when I get back! Anyone else going to jamboree? Would love to meet you there. ***Updated with pics on Pg 2*** Carrie
  14. We are paying $1209pp for the week plus taxes and now they added a $50pp fuel surcharge if you haven't paid in full already. Since we locked in the group rate back in October, we are set. I think the Apple price is at least $100 more per person on the website and that was pre fuel surcharge.
  15. Welcome to the forum! It is always nice to see another person from the Burgh on here! You will find tons of information on here.
  16. Wow! Those are some great pictures! I really like the 2 b&w ones that are close up of you and hubby! Thanks for posting these!
  17. Or if you want cheap to start, just buy some all leather tennis shoes. I bought my current shoes at a uniform store. They are nursemates maybe. Were around $45 or so.
  18. Congratulations! We will of course need to see some pics of your dress!
  19. Those are pretty but I'm going to be different here. I like #1 the best.
  20. I haven't jumped on this thread for awhile because I've been busy doing house projects. I should be saving money to pay for more of wedding but noooo, I had to redo my sunroom. I am halfway done with the sunroom. I will post a thread with pictures when I am done. I love this room. SO anywho, back to wedding stuff. I still need to find some sort of bustier sort of thing that will add some boobage and hold in any weight I don't lose. We also need to buy a wedding band for FI as well as order wedding shirts for FI and his twin. I think I will have ivory embroidery for FI's shirt and blue (that matches my twin's dress) for FI's twin. (Still following?) I also need to order the maraca pens and tropical notepads for OOT bags, get some decks of cards (might just get regular cards) and make CDs. I think I will just give everyone their bags before we go and not have a little get together. Just seems like a lot of work. Unfortunately for some of my guests, Apple just added a fuel surcharge of $50pp for those who haven't already paid in full. Of course, it probably went into effect on July 1 and their payment due date is July 8. Had we been forewarned, I would have had everyone pay before the surcharge started. Frustrating! Let's see, the only other thing left for Mexico is to have my stepbrother silkscreen my bags, order my shoes (going to get dyed same blue as my sister's dress), and figure out what shoes the guys should wear.
  21. Someone sent me those last week! They are so funny!
  22. Can't remember if this has been addressed or not...are pool floaties allowed in the pools at GBP? They are on sale at CVS I think.

I did have a cat once that liked photos and would like any pictures that were out. My sister's cat likes gum and will steal it out of your purse.
