  2. So, I managed to arrange a weekend getaway (instead of a traditional bachlorette party) with my former Delta girls (only one of our group still flying). I wanted to see them before Mexico since we have about 45 people coming. I flew to Melbourne last Thursday, spent the night with my friend Jamie and her husband and two little girls. We got pedicures and then drove to Orlando to meet the other 2 and do some shopping. Then we checked in the Grand Bohemial Hotel, a very swanky hotel in down town Orlando, had some wine and chatted up before heading out to a wine bar. We then got a police escort in unmarked cars (courtesy of my ex-boyfriend who is a police sargeant) to the clubs and no cover to the ones we decided to go to. The next day, we went to the pool for awhile, then got some food to ease our hangovers. We ended up going back to the same wine bar that night since we liked it so much. Then we just hung out at the hotel since we were all leaving early in the morning. It was a fun weekend and a nice chance to get together before Mexico. 3. We might do tequila as a prize. Or maybe pick something up in Mexico. Plus, I'd like to make a slide show of some of those pics for our AHR. We already plan on making a slideshow/video from the wedding to show at the reception.
  4. also, for getting the odor out, try scoe10x. It has an enzyme in it that will get the smell out. You have to really soak the trouble area. I've used it before and it really works if you can get the area saturated. www.scoe10x.com
  5. Okay, so I am including a photo scavenger hunt in my OOT bag. I am attaching my final document. I made it 2 per sheet and printed it on a heavier weight paper. We think we might have actually used matte photo paper. But, it works! Feel free to borrow or modify! Photo Scavenger Hunt.doc
  6. Wow, that is rough. I'd talk to him first and try to find out what is going on. Then maybe leave for a couple of days so he has time to see how much he misses you. Hopefully it is just stress, because this seems like a big change to make all of a sudden.
  7. Hi there, I have been busy working on wedding projects this weekend. Trying to get stuff crossed off my list. Here is the song list for our cds: El Jarabe Tapatío - Mariachi De Silvestre Vargas Vacation - The Go-Go's It's A Sunshine Day - The Brady Kids Coconut - Nilsson Tu Sonrisa - Elvis Crespo Tropicalia - Beck Marry Me - Dolly Parton Beer In Mexico - Kenny Chesney Cold Beverage - G. Love And Special Sauce We Like to Party! - Vengaboys Jesusita En Chihuahua - Silvestre Vargas I Just Want To Be Your Everything - Andy Gibb Can't Take My Eyes Off You - Frankie Valli Put Your Records On - Corinne Bailey Rae Mexico - James Taylor Volcano - Jimmy Buffett Stays in Mexico -Toby Keith La Negra - Silvestre Vargas One Particular Harbour - Jimmy Buffett Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole 5 Years Time (Sun Sun Sun) - Noah and the Whale Summer Breeze - Jason Mraz First Day of My Life - Bright Eyes We got a lot of good suggestions from my future BIL and his wife. They are really into music and always find us good alternative bands to listen to. We were going for a "get ready for Mexico/vacation" and a love sort of theme. Go figure! I am going to work on CD labels next and will post a pic when they are done.
  8. Great pics! Your and your FI look so happy. Your ring is stunning!
  9. Maybe post them in the pet section of craig's list.
  10. I was a Dan fan too. I was hoping that they would have sat and talked with all the housemates after they revealed the winner like the did on survivor. I guess, since it is all in real time that they couldn't.

Tungsten Jewelry - Mens & Womens Tungsten Carbide Wedding Rings, Bands, Watches & Bracelets FI and I just ordered 2 wedding bands for him. We were looking on the tungstenworld site. Then I turned over the laptop to FI, aka Frugal Dave. He looked up tungsten rings on slickdeals.net and was directed to amazon.com. We got him 2 tungsten rings (one which looked exactly like the $149.99 one we were about to order) for $29.99 each. And now he has 2 to choose from or a spare for when he loses one. I will let you know how they are (and post pics) when they arrive.
  12. Kat81, I would love to see what you did as well. My email is [email protected]. Thanks to you and Bianca. I couldn't find those for the life of me.
  13. Hi Super Sleuths, I have tried searching the forum and just can't find this thread. Someone had posted a website that offers a free mini spanish dictionary or phrasebook. It is something you can just print on a color printer and then fold it into a little booklet. I apparently didn't bookmark it. I was unable to open the pdf on the website. Can't remember if that was because I was at work or if was on my laptop. The plan was to go up to the desktop and try it up there. So, now that my bridal shower is over and I need to kick my projects into high gear, I can't find the site or thread. So I am calling on all of your skills at squirrelling information from this forum. Thanks in advance, Carrie
  14. Ooh, those pics are gorgeous! How do you get there from the resort? My wedding date is fast approaching. I guess I should email WC since I haven't done that. I did have my bridal shower last weekend. I am working on pics to post. So many things to do, so little time.
  15. I agree with the others! Active is good! My sister's baby kicked the crap out of her in utero. Now he is almost 11 months old and his is always kicking his R leg around randomly. We call it his "rogue leg." He was kicking me with the rogue leg weekend when he was drinking his bottle. Time is going fast, eh? How exciting!
  16. Awww. Gwen looks adorable! Are you having so much fun with her? So here is my question...for developmental milestones do you go by gestational age or by birth age? Was curious about that and can't remember from my peds/maternity class.
  17. Nope, my sister is leaving him at home with his Greek grandma (yia yia) and his other aunt. He would be a lot of work to take on vacation.
  18. I have this problem at work. At home we have Fios so I haven't had any problems here. but I stopped even trying to load up pages on bdw at work. : (
  19. Looks like you girls had fun! Great pics! I'm sure all the guys were upset that all these pretty girls wer taken!
  20. Your dress looks great! I don't know about the before but you are looking pretty buff! Good work. Wish I could be on the buff bandwagon.
  21. Those are awesome. they are good baby revenge on the child that cries all the time or just for kicks to make up for diaper changes and loss of sleep.

  23. I, obviously, don't have any good hair ideas for you, but just wanted to say that I love your phrase, "chocolate" brides! That's so cute. And I think we do have quite a few chocolate brides on here. This is an awesome forum!
