    I live by MN but I know that doesn't really help you right now! I know in my town some of the bridal stores give you a list of seamstresses they would recommend for alterations - maybe you go to one of the bridal stores and try that??

    Sorry about the big pics! First one is my Flower girl's Headband, and second one is my tiara!! SO excited!! I bought them @ my fave place called eBay - the FG headband was $4.95!!!!!

    I think that is a GREAT idea to turn them into the BBB - but even if you don't, I think you should buy the 2nd dress - you can always sell the other one here or on eBay or something - Who knows - if you let the other bridal store know how UPSET you are that they totally did not live up to their end of the bargain maybe they will make an exception - especially if you let them know you are going to share the horrible customer service with everybody you know!!

    Hi there! We are getting married in April as well - My advice would be to keep it simple! It is going to be SO beautiful anyways - Honestly - we are not doing any chair linens - Our guests probably won't even pay attention to the chair linens anyways - I am making a lot of our favors and things too for added color - like program fans for the ceremony, flowers, corsages and everything like that - usually you can make things for 1/2 the cost and there are TONS of great DIY ideas on here!     Sounds like you have a lot done already - I am still SO torn between paying for a reception or just going to the dinner - I REALLY want to have a dance w/ my FI and my dad - so I have like 2 more weeks to decide.........Did it end up being really expensive for you?? We are staying until the 14th so if you are going to be there during then we should meet up somewhere!! Who is your WC?

    Actually I had a beautiful baby boy in June - so I have a good excuse But I bought the dress in my normal size in August and I figured the pounds would just melt off by now - not so much - So I am just working my a** off at the gym (and my stomach and my legs ha ha) Results - here I come!

    Hi!! You are getting married only 7 days after me! Wonder if we will be there @ the same time?? Anyways I made my own flowers - so now I just have to find a way to bring them ha! And I decided on the smaller cake of the two - hopefully it is good - Everything else is still up in the air which I guess is ok cuz when I talked to our WC she said we pick everything the day we get there! How are you coming along?

    OK I am having a major breakdown! My dress still doesn't zip up all the way - It is almost there but I am having major freak out issues - I am on WW and working out @ the gym 3-4 days/week - Do you think 11 weeks is enough time? How much ahead of time do I have to get it altered?? I am freaking out!!!!!

    I went to Hobby Lobby ( the only craft store in my small town ) and bought some aqua paper for the background - I found clip art on the internet ( a starfish ) and just used my HP software - The easiest thing is just to start playing around with it and find out what you like best! I also ordered some baby starfish off ebay to embellish - Good Luck!

    I found a whole box of 24 2oz bottles of sunscreen on eBay for about $15 - I also bought some picture albums with a starfish on eBay too - they were like $1.25/piece - I would check there (it's like my fave place other than here!! )

    Hi there! We booked for MP through a travel agent but so far we have gotten all the deals on the palace website - Like the $400 passport package - We get FREE tours to all the places that MP offers to go - there are like 6 boatrides/waterpark/shopping trips and everything - I bet if you ask your TA about it she/he would include it - that is what we did anyway!!     I have no idea where I found this picture but I am sure you could find a white pail like this anywhere - and attach a little ribbon and starfish or shell or whatever else!
