For just the two of you I'd recommend an adults only resort as it'll be that much more romantic! For the Caribbean - I'd recommend Sandals Grande St. Lucian or in Jamaica Sandals Dunn's River Villagio (there is a review on the forum about that one!), Sandals Whitehouse or Royal Planatation (that movie with Robin Williams was filmed there!) Sandals Antigua may be a great choice also! If you are going all out and looking for ultra private - Royal Plantation Fowl Cay in the Bahamas would be amazing! HTH!

Yup- that's the one! I also like the pool on the manor side with the waterslide- it's not as private but the snack bar is right next to it. I do not recommend going down on your tummy- you get all tore up!

For a wedding I would definately go with a Riu! just a better overall property- food, service, rooms and amenities!

Contact TA Dina here on the forum- she's the Hawaii specialist and travels there quite often! She has contacts with both the resorts and vendors! She can help narrow down the choices so that you don't spend months and months researching. She's a fantastic TA - you'll really enjoy working with her!

A good rule of thumb for Mexico, All inclusive- 7 nights, for two with average airfare. 3 star ~3000-4000 4 star ~ 4000-5000 5 star ~5000-6000 Of course there are a thousand variables, time of year, when booked and room category!

Just a few thoughts- you can be healthy, fit and under 35 to have a child with Downs ( I was only 23 when I had my daughter with Downs Syndrome!) it's just that the chances are that much greater for that and other issues. We had no previous instances of genetic defects or issues in mine nor his family, I was young, healthy and in great shape ( wish I could still say that: )! ) - it was just "one of those things". I don't think that the dr's are trying to scare women- just inform them of any potential issues.

Check out Azul Beach- great mid sized property, kid friendly, swing bar for fun and a great beach! The pools are nice and the staff is incredible!

As long as a cruise ship isn't in port I would say it would be extremely private- I would double check with the Marina for their schedule and when they expect the ships to be in!

Not one of the out islands but I would definately recommend the One & Only Ocean & Beach Club on Paradise island, Nassau. I just toured the property recentlyand it was so amazing and tranquil! The beach was beautiful and even though it was down a little from the Atlantis it was so private.....and the spa, well I am still trying to find the appropriate words! Very private, secluded and just walking into the treatment rooms was like walking into another world, spacious and inviting (not clinical )! I am hoping to have time to write a review shortly on the property!

This is actually a marina- not a resort! It's owned by the owner of El Dorado properties. Many of the excursions (ATV ect) leave from here and also some of the private catamarans and dinner cruises. The beach here is fantastic and right next to it is El Dorado Maroma!

I am so excited- I just got back last night from the Sandals Star Awards held at Sandals Royal Bahamian and was thrilled to see that I had been nominated for Rising Star! It was an honour to just be invited to the Star Awards for this year but to actually have been nominated and made the top four -WOW!
