hello ladies.. really cute ideas.. in my welcome bags i have a personalized hand towel with me and my fh name and date of the wedding written in hot pink, along with 2 doves, pink and green scrungies(walmart)( the ones u wash with)(oh and hot pink and lime green are our wedding colors), small packets of tylenol(ebay), i also have the flip flop playing cards, a scented candle in a tin can(got from michaels), welcome letter, map of the resort..and i think i may throw some candy in the bags..maybe some skittles or and assortment of candy..

I am also from n.y.. i am orginally from brooklyn, but live in queens now.. i am getting married on march 15 08 at the riu in ocho rios.. i have never been there but here its a great resort.. the riu can be inexpensive during the summer months, keep that in mind.. its very expensive for winter months.. becuz its not hurricane season.. i think prices go up during winter months... i didnt know that when booking, otherwise i think i wouldve opted to get married in the summer instead of march.. make sure u ask the difference in pricing when booking your resorts..it may help your budget when making your decision.. good luck octavia

wow ladies..im sorry..didnt realize i was rambling and was out of writing room..lol.. i feel like i know u guys from all the post that ive read and have so much to share with u all.. oh i wanna make a logo.. i know there was a post about it.. im gonna go back and read it again.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. i am so not computer savvy.. question ladies.. am i crazy? but if i do any know if we can have regular glasses instead of those glasses with the blue rim glasses? they dont go with my hot pink and green theme AT ALL.. i was even thinking about bringing my own linen.. maybe some sateen pink table cloths..am i too extra?? i just wanted everything to be coordinated...as for centerpieces..i have noooo ideat.. i wanted to bring as much as possible being as though my budget is limited..but then i started thinking i already have soooo much stuff to bring down with those welcome bags, and im not even sure how thats gonna work.. there i go again at the end.. no more room:)

This destination wedding thing can be so frustrating at times.. hi ladies... my name is octavia..i am from new york and am also getting married at the riu ocho rios.. my wedding is confirmed for march 15, 2008.. i am very excited to have joined u all.. thanks soo much for all the welcomes.. my wedding is at 4pm and im not really sure as to how many guest i will have.. it should be somewhere in the ballpark of 50-60.. my guest are procrastinaors...this is very frustrating becuz i wont know until the end of the wedding where i will be able to have the reception.. i would like to have the free reception in the mammeebay restaurant, but if i have over 50 guest of course i will have to move to the plantation.. ive already reserved the disco from 9-11pm// i did confirm that with chandlyn via email.. im kinda torn between the ceremony locations.. i love the beach gazebo and the background of the ocean, but i hate sand.. i also love the pond gazebo but i hate that ugly building in the background..im kinda gearing more towards the beach gazebo, and i will just have to suck it up(the sand that is)..i will upgrade my decorations for the gazebo..i love the way it looks.. and im considering getting the chair covers along with the sashes.. i hate that their are soo much in price, it starts to become costly when u have a guest list of 50-60..but it looks soo beautiful and elegant, and im sure will do pictures justice.. ok im sorry for the long intro..just wanted to give u ladies a lil bit of info.. oh.. mrsintraining..can u please forward me the info that u have and decorations.. my email is [email protected] thanks so much..
