I have had our reception at the Seagrape booked since May and I received an email last night from Chandlyn saying we would no longer be able to have our reception there! I think this is totally unprofessional how can they just say no after saying yes? She recommended our location to move next to the beach gazebo but our wedding is on a Saturday and there is a beach party that night. I am so pissed!!!

I just received a B.J.'s coupon book and they have Bicycle playing cards on sale 12 decks for only $12.99. I am buying cards for our oot bags and thought I'd share in case anyone else needs them.

My cousin's girlfriend just mentioned that her cousin in NYC is a photographer and is interested in doing our wedding. So I contacted her and she said if we flew her down for 3 days she would do our wedding for FREE and She'll do my Boudoir pictures for $225.00 book included!! She gave me a great deal of course because I know her cousin we weren't even going to have a photographer! Sorry to hijack I'm excited!

I am making a scrapbook guest book to take to Jamaica. Every person/couple gets their own page with their picture (I will put a picture of them from the wedding once we get home) a spot for their wish for us and their favorite part of the wedding, which will be added after the wedding of course at a group dinner before everyone leaves. We only have 23 guests coming so I was able to really personalize everyones page, I love it!

I have been emailing Chandlyn since last November and she usually gets back to me within a week or so, never more than two. She is very busy but I would email her soon and ask her your questions because you don't want to be stressed out or not have answers two months before your wedding. She's really nice and so far has been very helpful, if you have any questions you can always post here and everyone can help!

I thought it looked like pretzle sticks too! I was thinking of using pieces of real bamboo and just having them removed to cut the cake. The Riu told me that they could make this cake no problem so we'll see.

I am just getting info. from some local photographers for my boudoir, I can't wait to do it!! So far I'm really leaning towards Stefanie from The Pouting Room ~ Intimate, Boudoir Photography And as much as I love Gisele (she dates THE Tom Brady of course) I don't like the black and white picture but I love her hair!

I plan on being barefoot for the ceremony and reception which is on the beach, for dancing later on (if I make it until then ) I plan on wearing flip flops, they're easier to walk in after a long night!

We are having the steel drum band from 4-6:30 they'll be used for walking down and back down the aisle and for a cocktail hour.

I have been talking with Tai Flora in Ocho Rios, they charged almost $100.00 more for the bouquet I wanted than Floral Fantasies but that was one specific bouquet. I'm not sold on either one yet, we'll see but I can't believe flowers are so expensive!

It's starting to be crunch time but I'm feeling ok about it. I have a good amount of things to do but I'm not too stressed, I know it'll get done. I ordered our oot bags, some came in but the others are on back order for a few weeks, they are really cool, I love them. I made the appointment to get my dress altered, I can check that off the list. I bought a few supplies to make our centerpieces, if they come out how I picture them then I will be very happy!! I'm going to Michael's in a bit to get what I need to make our guestbook and to Target to get a few things for the guys' bags, I'm feeling pretty good about my progress. I'm glad to be getting married in November because there is a bunch of things I can wait on and get on sale after the summer. By the way, Lucy I love your invites, you did a great job and the flip flops are so cute!

I changed my mind (again) and after re-thinking things, I ordered these bags. They are big but after looking at other bags they aren't much bigger plus they are strong and from what I've read, durable. I only need 14 but ordered 20 in case anyone books their trip last minute. If I have extra I guess I'll have to keep them for myself!
