  1. A little more info on the cenotes for those who asked. I don't remember the exact name of the one we went to, but they were just south of Playa del Carmen just past Puerto Adventures. There was no guide at all, we just went in and went where we wanted to without anyone bothering us. The thing that we didn't want, a big tour with a bunch of people around... We looked for smaller cenotes with not much exposure to tourists and that's what we found.
  2. Hi all, I am sure many of you have seen pics from the cenotes in Riviera Maya but I wanted to give you a different perspective. I made this video for Kirsten & David in December when we were there to capture their wedding. We searched for a cool location to do a day after "TTD" shoot and this is what we found. The first minute or so is in Playa del Carmen and the second part is in the cenotes. Enjoy! http://blueskyvideos.com/Clients/Kir...irsten_TTD.mov The video is Quicktime and might take a minute or two to load. Here are also some of the pics from there amazing wedding- Kirsten and David were winners of our destination wedding contest we had through the forum!!! The Gift: David & Kirsten: Teasers!
  3. http://http://www.dovecanyonclub.com/weddings.cfm This place was absolutely beautiful. I just shot one of my last weddings there. Check it out: http://www.blueskyvideos.com/Kristen512.wmv The coordinator and staff were great to work from a new vendor's perspective. So I am sure they would definitely take care of the bride as well. One of the nice parts was that the reception being outside looking out over the hillside onto the golf course.
  4. I used to work in the Gaslamp at the Marriott on 6th and K. It was awesome. There are so many restaurants within walking distance. Balboa Park isn't too far away, and the bay with the view of Coronado isn't too far away either. It is about 10 minutes away from the airport. Really anywhere downtown in the Gaslamp is nice. Hope this helps and good luck.
