  5. I love love the color!! I actually order clothes and dresses quite a bit from VS--- I've never had any problems (except I always have to get the pants hemmed - guess they measure the legs with the supermodels in mind! ))

  11. Welcome!! I'm getting married at EDR in May! You'll find lots on info on this site.. Right now , we are doing the iPOD set up at the reception- though I'd love to have the marachi band at the cocktail party- still working out budget constraints

Do I need to decorate anything or is it pretty enough as is? I was just going to get minimal decorations for the chapel, our wedding location. Hey Jwolfe72 -we are having the white glove cocktail right after ceremony- evidently there are tall tables- so I'm just having the tall tables have the white linens and a bow tied right at tabletop (I think this is $36 for all the tables (6 tables total) combined- the bows will be the same color as my wedding- a red/pink color - then it is $50 to have rose petals scattered on all the tables- I'm bringing my own votives, so I'll add votives to the tables, and I'm bringing my own cocktail napkins that have our monogram and will match the bows...For the dinner, I'm bringing my own placecards, placecard holders, and menus- and having them add centerpieces and a table runner- I'm adding my votives I'm bringing for that also... for the chocolate fondue reception after dinner--- having the exact same decorations that I'm having at cocktail party.... except I'm also adding tiki torches and floating candles since it'll be dark... Hope this helps!
  13. I love this picture!!!!- this gave me an idea- I have been thinking on how to honor our grandparents-- all of the FI's grandparents have died, and I only have one living and she is in an Alzeheimer's home-- I think I will try and get a copy of each of their wedding pictures and have them set up somewhere.... maybe at one of the tables at the reception--- does this sound creepy or something that would be nice?
  14. How much fun to have us overlap being there?!?-- We get to EDR on 5/13 and leave on 5/20--- we should have a BDW bride cocktails together!

I think that is 6-8PM; then we are doing a private reception at Tucanes from 8-11PM- I am doing the private chocolate fondue party ($14/person); and doing the iPOD setup there and having the cake cutting there, first dance, reception etc... for decorations for that- we are just doing tiki torches, floating candles, I'm doing linens for the tables and votives/rose petals.... Then our private dinner- we are doing that the next evening-- on the beach -at Gazebo 55.... To be completely honest- the reason I'm separating it and making it into 2 nights is bc I bought 2 wedding dresses--- I have one that is more "bridal" looking that I'm wearing for wedding; and the other one is a sheath- and I'm wearing it to our private dinner the next night.... so it basically is being all planned bc I couldn't decide between 2 dresses ....
