  2. Not sure if this thread already exists--- but I am still contemplating styles of my ceremony program... - Thought it might be fun to have people post pictures of their programs -to give some ideas!

One of the other brides did tell me about that. we are doing the Passion package--- and yep, they gave us $250 off to help pay for half of outside vendor fee- which I was really happy about... I haven't had a ton of communication with them since the initial booking/deposit. I thought that maybe 4-5 weeks out, I'd email and try to give a list of shots I want, and give schedule of wedding events, etc- try and nail down some details....
  5. Sorry- didn't get to do a site visit! wish I had though!!!! -- good luck with your trip -and can't wait to hear reviews!

(regular are $3.50-if you buy more than 2 pairs- it's $2.50)Thought'd I'd pass along... Women's & Men's Clothes: Plus Size, Maternity, Baby & Kid's Clothing | Old Navy

  8. I was also worried about this-- but we are arriving on a Tues and getting married on Friday- and I got it triple-checked that it would still be "legal"-- so no worries!

  10. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I bought mine from that website, too!! I love them! - I got the bobby pins flowers-- the one I got are white and they have a little crystal in the middle that has a light blue tint to it-- something blue!
  12. ooh- thanks for site!! this is great!! definitely just forwarded to FI!
  13. Ours is a little bit of a twist! We aren't gettin rings engraved, but getting tiny tattoos on our fingers, underneath the wedding bands - the chinese symbol for eternity...
  14. This is a great thread for me- mine is next weekend!! There will be 18 of us- my mother, sister, sister-in-law is hosting- and it's at a cute little "hip" lunch place in downtown Charlotte- afterwards we are getting our nails done and maybe a little shopping.... It's still kinda cold in NC- so I was thinking dark jeans and a cute, fitted blazer w/ heels?!?!? it won't have anything to do with the beach, or Mexico, though...hmmm.....
  15. From what I've read-- all major resorts filter their water; however, it's still highly recommended for guests to drink only bottled water (EDR provides bottled water in the minibar every morning). I don't know first-hand, but the filter allows you to have ice in your drink, etc-- where if you are off resort, you shouldn't even order ice in your drink.... Not sure if I'm completely correct with this--- but that's kinda what I've gathered.....
  16. Mandy- this is the first time I saw those pix of Faisanes--- do you know the couple being married? I'm super excited about the site- I love it! The only slight worry I have is my FI is 6'6"--- do you think he'll fit under the gazebo?- it looks kinda short in the pictures.... anybody got any advice on this?

They will provide (at an extra charge!) decorations- linens, floating candles, tiki torches, rose petals, etc.... Like Millie&George said- almost anything you want- they can give you- they'll charge ya though! - but I think that is how most resorts are... We are having everything I thought I wanted (and even more) and would have had here in North Carolina for a traditional wedding in regards to reception, cake, decorations, etc-- but for the price- we are also having a 8 night vacay-honeymoon!
  18. WOW-absolutely beautiful!!! The ceremony site was amazing... you guys look great--- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!
