Twist on Tradition - Box Invitations and see the invite named A Seaside Affair... i love that invitation and want to try and make something similar to it of course adding my own flavors in it... i want to get a very think sand color paper, the linen and then white paper... then i want to place the sand color paper, the Linen in between and then the white... i also ordered starfish and seashells i want to incorporate in the invites... i just started and i just hope it all comes out how i want it... thank you sooo much for your help

The thing is that I am looking for Linen PAPER!!!! And I can’t seem to find any my color. I need them, turquoise, tiffany, aqua, or teal… it doesn’t really matter which one Can anyone help me

Hi ladies I am having a bit of a dilemma… I have a timeshare that allows me to get 4 rooms in the Bavaro Princess and all I have to pay is the all inclusive fee per person per day… the thing is that well since I was having a destination wedding no one was interested in attending except for the family members… and now I am having people come out of the woodworks saying that they want to attend… The thing is that the resort only gives me 4 rooms and I begged and pleaded for 10 rooms and by the grace of God they are not reserving 10 rooms for me…but that’s only enough for me and my family and now I need more rooms and well I cant get any more rooms… and this brakes my heart… Soon I am going to be mailing out a letter to all of my guest to let them know about wedding updates and all… I will like to get a travel agency to take care of all of the guest who I cant get a room for ... would any of you recommend anyone I don’t know what to do… I wanted a really small intimate wedding and now everybody wants to attend… I know I should be excited but im freaking out… Thank you for your help

Thank you Guys - I understand now... i spoke to my FI about it and told him we can definitelly pay for either or... another thing he told me was that the Pastos was rearanging his vacation time to spend it with us in Punta cana... i thought that was nice... thanks for your help.. you guys are the bestest

Yes - He was invited like a guest... and my fiance said well it would be nice if he can go and marry us also... he is not charging us for his service... is it ok if i pay for his stay andnot his wife? i feel like thats wrong for some reason but i dont know

I love this Idea... i am also going to have my mom Walk me Down the Isle because she has been my mother and father... i will definitelly think about doing this... love the IDEA!!!

Pastor marrying us? Do I pay? Good afternoon ladies – I am currently having a huge dilemma… I am catholic but my fiancé is Lutheran. The thing is that he grew up with his Pastor, he was baptized, did his first communion, and confirmation all with the same pastor. And as of me I moved around too much to stick to one Priest. The thing is that we decided to marry away in Punta Cana, DR and He asked his pastor if he would marry us and of course after he spoke to his wife he said definitely he would join us and marry us out there… The thing is that now everybody is telling us that we have to pay for his flight ticket, and also the stay of not only him but his wife too… We were thinking ok we can pay for one or the other… the flight or the stay… but now im confused… Here I was thinking I was going to save a lot of money and boom… now I think I am going to have to spend over 2k to accommodate his pastor. I don’t know what to do… please help me

ok so i think is best i play it safe... i am going to get my Marriage License in New york... and then what after the license what do i do? i am having my pastor marry us in the dominican republic do i wait untill then... or do i have to have all of the legality done here signed by a judge and then get married by my pastor... sorry guys im being stupid i just dont know...

You guys are awesome... yes if i do all of the legality in the US it will be cheaper and then i would just do the renewal of vows in DR... i will look at other post... i am leaning toward legalizing it in the US and making it a more intimate occation for me and him... when should i do this? we are getting married in December 5th of 08 should we do it december 5th of 07? thank you guys

Thank you all for all of your warm wishes... i live in Hauppauge, long island... i just moved here about a couple of months a go with my fiance the only big dilema i am having at the moment is choosing where to legalize my marriage... i dont know if i should go to punta cana and do the whole marriage license out there or if i should do it here in NY... and also i have no clue about invitations... ahhh... oh and my mother is against me having a destination wedding... she says not everybody is going to be able to go and that i am being difficult... i have always been a simple girl, i like to be different, i never ever wanted to get married and now that i am getting married to the man of my dreams i dont want it to be a typical wedding. i think having a big huge wedding is a great thing for those who want it but i dont see any joy in that... my mom is making it very difficult for me to enjoy this time of my life because she keeps telling me that im making a big mistake... and everyone else is excited, everybody tells me how they cant wait for the wedding to attend and they are excited except for my mom...

Hello everybody I have a little bit of a dilemma – how many of you are getting married in the Dominican Republic? I would really love to get married there but I am also thinking about getting my marriage license here in the US and then going to DR for a Vowel renewal. But I don’t know what to do I’m so confused.
