I know how you feel. When we first decided we got so excited. Then we started telling people. Immediately it went downhill. People were getting angry b/c they couldn't afford it or thought it would be too expensive and so on. I called it off for a while. Then someone said you can't please everyone. And I finally said I WANT A BEACH WEDDING. No matter where I do it someone wasn't going to be happy. Everyones fine now except my best friend. She won't let me send her an invitation b/c she say that like dangling something she can't have in front of her. That hurt. She barely talks to me now and when we do I can't mention my wedding plans b/c she always turns it to "When I get married I'll make sure everyone can come". I'm having 2 receptions one in my FI hometown and one in mine but she's still mad. I'm just trying to get over it. Oh well.

Ok, so I was reading another post and she said that she got a different time for her ceremony b/c another bride hadn't confirmed her time. So I started freaking out. I went through a travel agent and she just gave me my confirmation number for my wedding and our hotel and flight. Well when you go to riu.com/weddings it has a little thing on the right that has you put in your confirmation number and hit confirm. But then you have to put in all this stuff and your credit card number. But I don't know if thats to GET a confirmation or if you have one. I'm just so confused. And since I only got my confirmation number just recently and I haven't heard from Chandlyn yet should I email her first or wait. I don't want to lose my time b/c I got 4 and thats the latest one. HELLLLLP!!!!

We just got my FI band and he went with Tungsten. It's pretty new and virtually indestructable...Funny story... We went in to the jeweler to get our bands and hes like look at these tungsten rings they are the strongest metal out there they don't scratch and my FI loved them b/c of the smoky blackish color. And the jeweler took it out and said here I'll show you how it doesn't scratch. So he takes out the metal ring sizer cone thing and he takes the ring and it hits it once on it. The ring breaks in half. It was pure silence for a minute and then we all start laughing. I guess when they cast it it had a crack and the ring broke. Anyways my FI still got a tungsten ring and it doesnt scratch it's really pretty and he loves the color. Now they do engrave tungsten but you MUST go to a fine jewelere to dod it. The only thing that can engrave or scratch it is is diamond. There are some online stores offering tungsten rings engraved but the jeweler we talked to said they would too. So it depends. Sorry it's so big oops....

They do sell the clear labels as whole sheets. I used clear labels on the outside envelope of my invitations. And it sticks. So you wouldn't need the hodge podge though I'm thinking you used decoupage. They also make spray on glue so you could spray from far away. I think the label would be the best bet b/c it needs no glue. Good luck!

Wow you guys post fast..thanks for the welcomes! Now I just have to figure out how to put my picture as my avatar hahaha! And yeah it came up fast. I got engaged on April 27th and December was the best time to get married or risk waiting till 2008 and we both didn't want to so now I have to shove planning in 8 months! AAAAAH!

So I'm confused. What if I want no professional photog and I just have my family and quests take pictures. My sister had a professional photog at her wedding and then she handed every quest a throw away camera and they all took pictures and then returned the cameras to her and she had them developed. They were amazing. Each one was different and a different POV. I don't want to have to pay some idiot 200 bucks NOT to take pictures at my wedding. Thats ridiculous!!. Cali
