If anyone wants a pic and do editing like that feel free. And then I have one with both of us sleeping.. It's hard to make her lashes dark b/c they are so short and tiny. -

However I didn't like the outcome of the pics. So far I have her in a pink dress on a dock and on the grass. Then I put her in a white eyelet dress with bubbles (which she didn't like) in the grass with purple flowers. Then her in front of a mirror kissing herself and playing. And some with a teddy bear. I stopped by Lowes and got a metal galvenized tub and am going to fill it with bubbles and put her in with her rubby ducky. I don't know if the tub is too big but I can't find the oval kind. GRRR. Anyone know where to get one? hahah. I'll post some teaser pics after dinner. Thanks for the suggestions. I so want to do the kitty puppy one. But the pet store said no to taking all the puppies or kitties out . Meanies! -

I just told her about the job offer and I waited till they found someone which took about my 30 days notice. I thought of the kittens and puppies but I don't know anyone with kitten or puppies And she hates ice cream. It's too cold. I have a ton of hershey kisses. Maybe just a diaper and piled around her and let her eat one?? I don't know sounds wierd? hahaha! -
Ok so next week is my last week with my current family I nanny for. I hate leaving family's b/c it's so sad. So I thought I would give them a little gift. I just got a brand new really nice camera. So I dressed her in a cute pink flowery dress and took her to this pond with a dock. I put her on the dock and took cute b&w, sepia and color pictures. Like with her feet hanging off and her sniffing a flower. Problem is she's 7 months so she sits by herself except sometimes topples. So I can't do like her sitting on a carousel. I need some more cute pic ideas to do with her. My DH just ran to target to pick up an all white eyelet dress and bubbles and I'm gonna sit her in the grass and blow bubbles. Then I'm gonna wear a black and white dress and take some pics with her. I'm gonna put all the pics in a slideshow with music for them. So does anyone have anymore cute ideas so I can get some more pics. She'll only pose for so long hahaha!

Wow exciting stories. I was a nanny for NBA Mav player Sean Bradley. Sad to say however their moral work ethics were horrendous and I quit shortly thereafter. I also won backstage passes and met all the members of the All-American Rejects with my niece. I then met Rihanna when she did a free concert at the mall in my town. I was going to the bathroom in JCPenny and she was headed to the office and then I went back after the concert to see her again. Hhahah. Oh and my dad works with the Mother of the lead singer in Heartland who sings the song "I loved her first". I think thats it.

This is the strangest thing ever. This man kept his daughter in the basement for 24 years and had 6 children by her and his wife never knew. WTF?!?!? Police: Captive had at least 6 children by her father - CNN.com

My Aunt is getting put on Hospice (UPDATED)...
Birdie07 replied to Alyssa's topic in Random Thoughts
I'm so sorry to hear this. Your family is in my thoughts. My Grandma was also in hospice for quite a long time. We kept getting told she won't make 6 months and she made it 2 years. You'd be surprised how strong they are. It is hard. I wasn't allowed to go see my Grandmother before she passed and so when I met the hospice workers I was surprised they came to her funeral they are wonderful people to do what they do. -
I was wondering if anyone had read the book. LOL I was about to post and say ok next book? Is anyone still in the BC?? If you guys are still here. Even though I wish there was more discussion on this book. Yari, as to your question there was the RUF (the rebels) and the Army. They both employed child soldiers as to alot of "Army's" today. Both sides were saying the same things. The Army said the rebels killed your family and the RUF said the Army did. When in truth both did. So depending on what side the other side was the rebels. It gets a little more political than that you can always wiki it. Becks as to your comment. There was a couple of interviews he did and he is always so smiley and friendly. I think if I was going back to write this I would seem detached too. Trying to keep that all in my head and handle it would be hard. I think thats why his writing is like that. I forget what interview which he said that sometimes he dreams and can't realize he's dreaming. If you read books on other tragedy's such as the Holocaust they write in that same way. I think it's just how they cope.

If you've ever been to Jamaica... read this :)
Birdie07 replied to Chris&Julie's topic in Destination Weddings in Jamaica
I echo everything said. We did leave the resort twice and were fine both times. People are very nice. As to resorts we only stayed at the Riu Ocho Rios. And I'm pretty partial to that one haha -
my dad had 3 growing up. We had to go on long road trips. We also did the Trail of Tears. If u know what that is. I say if you are doing short rides no worries. Just jeans long sleeves and a helmet. No shorts!! Road burn is bad. Dont try to look pretty b/c having your skinned ripped off in a fall is worse. Now if you're going to do longer rides or trips I have some jackets that are awesome that I can send u the links for. Really just dont sit stiff. Lean with the bike. Like a horse. If u have sidebar handles hold those if not hold your honey . ETA: watch the exhaust pipe! If they are under your feet (there are probably 2) the will melt the soles of your shoes if u rest your feet on them. Only use the foot rest. I lost my favorite boots that way. But have fun!!
