Picked these up at our lovely local store this afternoon for $2.50 each. What do you think? They had white, black and a hot pink..I cleaned them out of the white ones. thats a large bottle of sunblock in there to give you an idea of how big they are. I'm beginning to love that place!

We are planning to wait til six months out. Our resort is one of those that are real difficult about confirming your date with you too soon...so we're trying to wait to book travel. I don't anticipate having too much trouble as far as getting the date. BUT, I don't want to wait too long on airfare especially since I do think its going to get worse this year instead of better. Crap shoot all around. My thinking is that as the actual couple, you don't really want to book less than six months out..."deals" be damned. Paying a little more overall is better than ending up paying WAY more just to get there at the last minute.

I know you can buy them...I have a site bookmarked, let me see if I can find it. I am still debating whether or not I want to use one. I'm not real worried about it being heavy..just not sure if this is the route I wanna take. I figure by the time I buy the material, then take the time to do it...haha. I'm just not the DIY queen.

Oh, I SO love your bands! ive been looking for something for Bill similar to your groom's band, and haven't found anything yet. Do you mind telling me where you found it? He really wants something with the cross engraved.

Just a word to the wise after my first Assets experience. DEFINITELY by them the next size smaller than you think you need. I went by the chart on back and ended up not benefitting from them at all...they didn't do more than your average NON control top pantyhose, but I could tell if they were just tighter, it would have been fine.

We're using Stevie Wonder "Ribbon in the Sky" for my intro, then Robin Thicke "Lost Without You" during the ceremony...just played very low since its such a breathy song anyway, I don't think it will disturb anything and I love it. Then, for the kiss and recessional we're going to use Lauren Hill's version of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You". Sorta upbeat, and cute...and it just seemed to click when I thought about it. Still need a song for the rest of the bridal party's entrance though. hmm...

Absolutely STUNNING..I swear, its truly gorgeous. And it looks like it was made for you. CONGRATS you beautiful bride!

Morgan, I'm almost speechless (huge accomplishment where I'm concerned so be proud of yourself). THANK YOU a thousand times for all the pics...so very helpful and its going a LONG way towards giving us a feel for the place. Far more than anything else we could see. Billy is actually all psyched just looking at all your spectacular snap shots. He asked me a few weeks ago "now are you SURE this is the place? How do you know you won't change your mind again?" and all I said was "After Morgan gets back, you'll see." hahahaha..he thought I was insane, but he has been convinced! You guys had a blast and it so shows. Congrats again!!!!!!! Can't wait to read your review.

Looking for a little insight here from those who have had shoots done in RM. We're getting married in Puerto Aventuras, and honeymooning in Akumal. We aren't restricting ourselves to those two towns, but would like to get some pointers on a great location for our TTD shoot. I do plan to ask the photographer, but wanted to see if any of you had any spots you particularly loved. We're going to try to do it as early as possible to avoid "extras" in the shots. And I love the rocks that I've seen photographed on Tulum beach, though I know we can't do it on anything owned by the government.

I get it, and I wouldn't want to do anything to piss anyone off. We'll be visitors after all. I just want those beautiful rocks and sand incorporated into my pics and I'll be happy. I don't especially need the ruins themselves..I just admire the beach front underneath them, so I'm basically looking for a stretch of beach that looks similar to that underneath the ruins I guess.

I ain't gon' lie...my ass is old, and I loved me some NKOTB! If I lived in Washington, I would SO be there. NO shame in my game.hahaha...good luck!

The more I look, the more I learn. haha..I also see "Shipped direct to your destination!" so with the express shipping and cold pack, I think they would be ok.

Jenny, that was something that came to mind for me as well. I think we're going to just order them for the AHR cake, and not worry about using anything for the informal reception we have in Mexico. I assume they are well packed since she specifically mentions world wide shipping. But my concern would be melting considering where they are going.
