  1. tvt- I keep wondering what her family DID feel seeing her in that particular bridal ensemble. hahahaha And the hubby..even if he DOES love 'em....damn.
  2. Gotta go with #1...the asymmettrical thing detail is killer and love the lines..just enough "oomph!" to make it pop. Dress 2 is pretty too, but I really love 1.
  3. Holy hell.... *ahem*...it's certainly original. Selina..you are sooooo stooopid (and I say that in the way I say it with my sisters. lol)
  4. My dress (that I got the stupendous Ebay deal on) arrived today from the UK! I'm about to burst waiting for FH to leave so that I can try it on. I'm thinking of running over to my mom's so that she can help anyway, since it's a lace up. I'll post pics as soon as I can. I'm so excited!
  5. You guys are about the most adorable thing I've ever seen! The lighting really worked for your pics, and love all the candids of y'all playing around. You have me itching to get on that plane!
  6. Yeeea!! I haven't gotten to talk to you in a while, Shelley! That is absolutely adorable....love the booty grab. Glad to *see *, I haven't been around much but I'm going to catch up soon.
  7. HOLY CRAP! THOSE ARE FANTASTIC! I'm blown away, seriously.... ummm..so, when are you starting your own business? tee hee
  8. Glad I'm not the only one with the idea of the invites going out while we're away...I think we'll go ahead and do the message in a bottle invites, because I really love those and don't suppose there's any reason not to just because it's not for the actual wedding.
  9. I'd be pissed too. If I went all the way down there JUST to try to check some things off the list, I wouldn't care how far out the wedding date was. I'd expect her to be cordial and at least seem interested. I'd listen to the experiences of the other ladies here and I'm glad you're now in other hands. But ya...I'd have been smokin' hot mad too.
  10. Wedding Dresses, Gowns for the Mother of the Bride or Groom, Bridesmaid, and Flowergirls from The Bridal Shop, LLC of Mamaroneck, NY They have some of the lowest prices on designer gowns that I've seen, and believe me..I feel like an expert after the last six months of searching. They also give you the option of putting down 50% as a down payment, which I thought was cool. Good luck!

That was over a year ago, but I wonder if they'll ever go with that twist. It was only 1 comment on 1 show, so I'm sure it was just thrown in "in case" they needed to take him in another direction, but still.... They decided to drop it. Won't come into play now. I have a lot of "spoilers" things coming up on the show, if anybody wants I can post, but I hate people ruining things for me when I don't want to know, so let me know. I will say that the Chloe pregnancy b.s. should come to light during November Sweeps. I am now the proud new co-owner of the OFFICIAL Daniel Goddard (Cane) Fan Site. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! We have been so excited....and he has been so cool, and so damn nice to deal with. We'll be conducting a live interview and call in show in the next couple of weeks. For all y'all "Cane" fans, just wanted to let you know. I'll be traveling to Toronto Nov. 8 to do a Welcome Dinner for fans attending an event Daniel is taking part in. Been a crazy, busy time but so much fun!
  12. OK, since FH and I have basically decided to do away with the idea of inviting everyone for this big to do and focus on just the two of us, I'm wondering about notifying people of the AHR. Has anyone had invitations made, if so...what type? I actually had the thought of doing the message in the bottle invites and simply wording them as if we were literally sending them from Mexico..something along the lines of "Sending Our Love From the Shores of Mexico" along with the fact that yes, we got married and here's the celebration info. For those who have had AHR's, what did you do to notify people? Any suggestions or ideas would be great.
  13. Welllll....I am thinking that ultimately, it depends on the type of FH you have. If he is a sensitive guy, who agonized over choosing one for you...then just personally, for me, I couldn't do it. I'd be happy with it, because he gave it to me and all that Hallmark card stuff. On other OTHER hand...if you have a man who has told you in any way, shape or form that he wasn't sure WHAT to get you, and expressed any type of worry about it, then I'd say you were safe to at least approach the subject of swapping it for something else. I know it's got to be hard...I would hate not being happy with something I am wearing for the rest of my life. That's one reason I shamelessly pointed him in the right direction in terms of style months before he did anything about it. lol Good luck, and keep us posted. I'd like to hear how this turns out for you.
  14. It's ONE day....damn, why be anal? Besides, the dresses I've seen AFTER a good relaxed shoot may have looked a little "dirty" but in the photos, they all look beautiful regardless. So what your hem gets dirty, it will anyway. And if this thing that most brides pay over a grand for can't stand up to at LEAST some smudges, then it wasn't worth the money. So ofcourse my opinion is trash that sucker! It's not like I'm gonna wear it on date night to the movies. Those who plan on wearing it a second time for another ceremony or reception, I can understand...but that's not the average situation.

  16. Ah, damn...I hate I'm not having BM's anymore now. lol What a great sale..going to make things a lot easier for some lucky attendants and mom's.
  17. You look gorgeous and that has soooo got to be your baby sis standing up for you. Your pics turned out well, further evidence that going with the resort photog isn't a bad thing some places! Congrats on beautiful photos of a beautiful day!!!!

I really thought he would give me grief on a lot of things, a TTD included...but since he didn't know what a TTD was, I got on here, pulled some pics and explained. He just looked at me a minute and said "OK, sure...if you want to. Once I have a few drinks in me, it's all good." Just have to keep him right in that beautiful twilight mode where inhibitions are lost, but he isn't making an ass of himself. Heidi- I do not know WHAT the heck you are talkin' bout girl..cuz your pics are (as my lil' sis is constantly saying ) OFF THE DAMN CHAIN! Sexay....and your hubby reminds me of one of the guys from the show Heroes. hubba hubba
  19. A.) I wish I had just 1/4 of your bust. B.) you were glowing..and you guys look like you had such fun. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  20. OK, this is the most excitement I've gotten out of FI since picking his ring out...lol. I'm definitely getting the Chicago Bears garters....he was absolute bowled over that these things are available.

I agree with MrsE....PERSONALLY, I'd try working with the length that I have if my only problem was that I thought it was boring. Only if I couldn't be happy with styling it a different way would I go to the scissors route. Every bride is different, but the one theme I've noticed since being around this place is that most of us want styling options on our wedding day. The shorter your hair is, the few options you have, though there IS always extensions...so basically scrap what I just said and do what you feel like doing!
  22. I don't even know you and I feel like crying. hahahaaha! That was BEAUTIFUL...what a stunning session. Great keepsake for your family for generations to come, you can certainly see the love between the two of you. Just so romantic.
