  1. MAC USERS UUUUUNIIIIITE we are taking over the world heheh i told my friends that within 10 years macs would be in 50% of HOUSEHOLD computer use and they laughed at me. well its been like 2 years now and a lot of them have already switched... who's laughing now
  2. ya that dress is chic.. love it.. but janet is right. might not have very good flow for the hot weather. and a little tight for walking around in the sand. i do love it though. ive shot brides in tafetta and it didnt seem to hot for them as long as you got a fair bit of breathing room. dont sacrifice too much comfort in ordere to look fantastic
  3. you can tell them all that it is YOUR wedding and that its your dream to do a DW and they can all just save money by not coming and get someting nice on the registry
  4. welcome to the forum. The MR is a wonderful wonderrfuuuulll place for a wedding. i think you would want to have a reputable planner because there are just so many things to take care of that you just cant to well not being there. read up on reviews on resorts and WP and see who you would like

  12. well ive never heard a single couple say anything bad about a dreams resort. that seems to be a really popular resort for many. i know the one i stayed in at tulum was phenominal. you can look up many reviews on resorts with photos for both places. i stayed at the Riu in the dominican and it was nice but nothing like dreams. so my vote is for dreams
  13. a big welcome to you. the days will fly by and soon you'll be on the beach with your soon to be congrats
  14. congrats to you and welcome to the forum. have you been to cancun or a dreams resort.. you are gonna love the resort. any dreams place is fantastic. ive never heard a single couple say anything bad about it.
  15. hey. a destination wedding doesnt have to mean a foreign country what part of san diego and what venue. shot a couple weddings there. theres some really great locations september is a nice time of year. welcome to the forum...
  16. Quote: dude, you figured out my business model! well jay... ive seen your work. i just didnt want to say you could give your camera to jay and even him and his monkeys will get lucky with a few shots but i figured id be nice im not a hater
  17. well if it goes with the dress and you want to wear it then wear it im sure she would love for you to wear it. but if it really doesnt go with your dress then im sure she would understand... you could always incorporate the veil perhaps another way in some creative way.
  18. i second all that. traditional, lifestyle, photojournalistic, photosureal, artisitc, documentary, commercial, whatever kind of photography they claim to be or not to be just look at photos from an entire wedding and make sure you like the photos through the entire day from begining to end. you can give the camera to a monkey and they can get some great shots to put up on a website but that wont give you a true understanding of the photographic style of the monkey. you might see a photographer who has a very photojournalistic shot up on their site when really they are very traditional and posed through the entire thing. id say all in all most photographers these days (especially on this site) are very photojournalistic/lifestyle and thats what most people are looking for. they want their entire day documented and not just a couple shots at the ceremony and reception like my parents wedding (sorry to my mom and dads photographer hahah)
  19. no matter how many weddings you shoot a list is always nice because the photographer might not know that a certain shot is very important to you. best way is to just make a list of your family and friends and figure out what combinations of them you want in pictures... beyond that some of my favorite shots have been the first look of course (thats a private moment between the two of you where he sees you for the first time before the ceremony and its a much better way to capture it then when you walk down the isle) the pictures of you getting ready with hair and make up are my faves always and the photos of teh groomsmen pallin around. dont forget to get lots of detail shots of your tables and flowers and rings and dress. you know what .. just tell him to start taking pictuers and never stop hahaha
  20. one more possibility it could be is that sometimes your stomach becomes herniated through a hole in your diaphram causing acid reflux. it can be taken care of with a few special massage techniques that helps pull it back out without surgery. most likely its lactose intolerence though but you never know.
  21. ya know what... for once id like to hear a couple say something bad about the dreams tulum resort hehehe. honestly ive never heard a single person say anything negative
  22. when my wedding couple booked me they got it as a package deal on like priceline or expedia or something i forget which one. but it was like 1000 total and that ended up to about 130 bucks per night when you factor out my flight would have been like 600 alone.
  23. hey "Can't Wait!" its too bad you arent getting married in mid october because trish0612 i believe is bringing me down and im sure she would have split it with you. i saw these threads you can see if anyone is around your date http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t14762 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t7767 hold the phone. i was just researching for you and i see that amy706 is getting married dreams tulum the weekend after yours. you can find her in this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t13752 you could split the cost of sending a photographer down there and work out the cost of the stay in between the two wedding days... if you cant find one there who can split it you should broaden your search and ask anyone getting married in the mayan riviera area that time frame because cruising in between spots only costs up to like 100 bucks. way cheaper then a plane ticket Hope that helped
