You don't have to call it a blog. with all that peer pressure telling me id be cool if i did it i guess i pretty much have to.. it cant hurt if others are doing it... i mean the first ones free right... its after i run out of money that i start whoring myself out for another blog fix does google have one? which one is most customizable?

  13. patience my child... us photographers get busy and travel a lot (thank god for laptops and being able to edit on the plane) 4 weeks is about the time needed for a wedding (depending on how much editing) im sure if you ask nicely he can send you a few samples ... ive had pictures done within a week and sometimes up to 6 weeks. it depends on what time of wedding season it is... let us know when you get them. cant wait to see

(if you don't mind sharing... ) Any help/thoughts would be appreciated!! you know there is such a variety of photographers out there in all sorts of styles and all sorts of price ranges... first ill answer your questions and then ill give you some advice.... 1. the typical wedding photographer charges on average from about 1500-3500 for the photography. there are plenty that do it for just the cost of the trip out and some that demand everything under the sun paid for on top of their photography services. 2. there are lots of pros and cons to bringing your own. first pro is that you can shop around and find one you are happy with and fist your personality and style as opposed to the one at the resort. usually they are with you pretty much the entire day and not just 3-4 hours . some stay for several days ( i know im stayign 10 days with one couple in november to photograph their adventrures) ... cons wise... its usually gonna cost a lot more but you can usually gaurantee it will be what you want my advise is this... really think about how important the photos will be for you. are you the type of person that takes pride in photography. do you appreciate quality work, will you be wanting to put lots of photos up and send pictures out to friends and family and share them. really break down the cost to bring a photogrpher out with you and think are you the type of person that would be content with the resort photographers. sometimes there are some great ones there. maybe im biased but if you are on a strict tight budget and are content with the photographer at your resort then i say go with that. but ... if you know that you want to ensure that the photos you get are going to give you joy every time you see them and want to relive those memories forever in a unique and artistic way ... get the pro to come with you... hope that helps
  15. i like the floral one... by the way who did you end up finding for your bd pictures. i know you were looking and hadnt figured out one in your area..
  16. i think its always nice when they take care of it on the spot in the begining ... at the end there is so much craziness going on that its hard to get to it.. im okay with people paying after though.

  20. in my life of travels... i have come across far off lands with tribes and civilizations out of the reaches of modern life... they spoke of legends and stories of such ferrets dressed as bunnies and in tuxedos and showed me hieroglyphics of these feared and worshipped creatures... till i found this thread i thought it was just folklore. but now i see it is the truth and i must bring these ferrets to those people... it will produce large crops and save countless virgins from sacrifice.. i thank you BDW

  25. holy moly.... that is insane. im sorry to hear about all that and i hope he heals fully. i had something similar happen to a friend. they pulled out a big chain with a lock on the end and smashed his eye socket in.. he healed okay but now his one eye is sliiiightly droopy so he always kind of has a slightly drunk look to him (on a humerous note he gets 86'd a lot from bars before he even has a drink and we would laugh about that) butttt its terrible what this world is coming to
