  1. okay scotland to mexico. thats quite the flight... how many miles does that translate to. use the website i posted up
  2. Okay ladys and gents... so we all know that 98% of everyone here is doing the mayan riviera.... BUTTTT I want to know who is traveling the farthest and having their wedding at the most distant place from where you are. Who lives in Ohio and is planning a wedding in Singapore? Or who lives in Japan and is planning their wedding in France? Lets use the internet and figure out who is travling farthest distance wise and the winner gets a pat on the back from me http://www.geobytes.com/citydistancetool.htm will let you figure out distance between two cities also you get points for if it will take the most traveling time. Perhaps you're getting married in the Congo and you have to hike for 2 days after a day long flight. thats a winner for sure in my book
  3. hahaha... ya. well make sure you have a dress thats not see through. i am not about to be held responsible for your playboy TTD pics haha

I brought it home and I'm going to have it drycleaned and pressed and honestly, it's as good as new! Now for the closet dilema!!! ya. you are one of the ones who prompted this thread but simply cause of the inflation that happend. you werent the fishing net dress. isnt it funny though how much cleaner it is after wards. salt water really does a great job of cleaning a dress. as long as you rinse it out and get the sand out. and more pics to come

I really want to wear my original dress for my TTD, so I'll have to keep that in mind while dress shopping! believe me... you are going to love oyur TTD photos more then any other photos. they really turn out so great because you can literally do whatever you want and not worry about anything. inhibitions to the wind always makes for great photos Quote: Originally Posted by Corvette79 I just wanted to point out that actually if you are wearing white then you should wear nude or beige underneath because it is the closest to skin color so it will not show up in pics. white on white is ok but not the best. i don't know about you but i always go nude under my clothes... OHHH you mean actually wearing nude colored underwear.... reminds me of when i was a kid. my parents bought me a beige speedo. i remember being 5 and thinking " ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME?" hahaha but ya. i guess it all depends on the dress. some you cant even see anything once they are wet. if its got layers underneat it doesnt really matter what. you could wear hot pink and it wouldnt really show. but better safe than sorry. most are pretty trasnperant
  6. well im glad im good for a laugh hehehe and im glad that i am starting a good thread on here and contributing YAYYYYY IM WORTHY

I literally had ants in my dress! and im sure he had "ants in his pants" best cure.. take them off.. and i'm sure you did *snickers and giggles heheh*
  8. oh one more thing... Alin (of alin and mako) made a suggestion of donating the TTD dress while there in mexico and not having to bring it back. her dress just got wet and would have been perfectly fine with a good wash and pressing. i thought that would be nice instead of just tossing it.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!! the tulle should be fine.. just be aware that its gonna catch any debris like a fish net so if you are in any waters that has de-brisss (i just like to say it the english way haha). its fine if you really wanna TTD but if you are just looking for "wet dress photos" then perhaps get a dress that wont double as a survival aid for catching seafood. hehehe if budget allows it get a second dress and find out with your photographer what you have in mind and they can let you know which dress would work best. OR shoot in both
  10. ya. another good advice. thanks morgan... dont wear stripped underwear or bathing suit. INSTEAD wear all black.. jk hehehehe
  11. K ladies. For those of you buying an inexpensive or expensive dress OR using your wedding dress, I have some advice to help with the photography process. I have come to realize that, even though I love the look of taffeta dresses, they get to be kind of a pain when wet. (if you're doing water photos that is) They tend to fill up with air and turn into a floating balloon and some are almost impossible to get them to "deflate". So if you're buying a second dress get one that has nice flowing fabric that will take to getting wet. Not so long you get wrapped up in wet fabric and cant move though. and they dont have to be expensive fancy dresses to get nice pictures either. NOW .. don't go thinking cause you already have a taffeta dress that pictures wont turn out or whatever, because almost all of the dresses i've shot for TTD shoots have been taffeta, but just giving a little heads up if you are going to get a second dress. with that said... happy TTDs'ing
