Hello hello! I have been reading and getting so much info from BDW for months and months... I am one of those who think they can figure it all out without asking questions! Now a question has come up to which I cannot find an answer, so please help! We're getting married Dec. 6th, our ceremony is legal and I am curious to know how long it takes to finalize the legality of the marriage within the US? It is my understanding that all of the necessary documentation is done in MX and translated/sent on etc... By the way, I am so excited and feel very fortunate to be able to do this- we all are, I think that sometimes we tend to forget what a great priveledge and unique opportunity we have right in front of us!

I see that there are tons of us getting married in Cabo! We have not decided what resort we're staying at this time around... There are 4 or 5 of them it seems who will not allow an outside planner to work on their property or use their beach access. I don't think that will matter though, as the ones she listed, I have no interest in anyway! Have stayed in the past at: Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar Fiesta Americana Pueblo Bonito Sunset Sol Mar Playa Grande Coral Baja- Worldmark resort Villa Del Palmar Villa La Estancia I think that completes the list! I LOVE Cabo... and have Tried to stay somewhere different each time. We're thinking of Surfer's Beach for the nuptuals, but are looking forward to "shopping around" for a location!

I'm Thereisa, and I'm near Portland OR Myself and my fiancee' Scott have chosen to get married in Cabo 12/6/08. I've been there several times, and just took him last year for his first Cabo vacation! He loved it just as much as I always have, and we can't imagine beginning our new life together anywhere more beautiful!
