I would show John Juan’s website and we would watch all the slideshows over and over again. Fast forward to 9/11/07…I got engaged and finally “joined” the forum as a member. But it took me a long time to even post b/c I felt awkward and didn’t think anyone would respond to me. Anyways, the very first day I went back to work after I got engaged, I met Tammy and Steve! Talk about fate! I quickly introduced myself…Tammy probably thought I was crazy…but I had to b/c I’ve been following her wedding for almost a whole year! Ironically John and I were just looking at their wedding photos the night before! She convinced me to post in the newbie section…and the rest is history! Anyways, back to my review…We had 87 guests attend our wedding. I would say 95% booked with Tammy. A lot of our family members, especially our aunts and uncles have never traveled outside of the country before. Most are also not internet savvy. They had a gazillion questions for Tammy regarding traveling to Mexico and about Dreams hotel. Sometimes calling her over and over again. She was patient throughout the whole process, answering their questions as they would arise. She was also very flexible w/ the deposits and payments. Let’s just say I had a guest who still owed her money up until the day he left for Cabo! He still got his vouchers for the hotel and transfer w/out a problem! It was a tremendous fete to gather everyones deposit and payments…and for that I must give her a round of applause. Another thing that Tammy did was she was able to get us the best price for Dreams. She beat out all the other internet competitors out there. Which was great b/c my family always wants a “deal”. The few who ended up booking w/ orbitz or cheaptickets were stuck w/ their dates to Cabo. For those who booked thru Tammy, they were able to switch their hotel dates, over and over again, without a problem. I felt so bad about this….since it was an inconvenience for her to change all the paperwork. But she made it happen! Let me give you an example: I initially had M book for 10/22 – 10/26. She then wanted to add her friend, S, in the same room but for the dates 10/23 – 10/26. Then along comes another girl, A, who wanted to stay in their room too from 10/23 – 10/26. A month before their departure date, A, decideds that she wants to stay an extra day (till 10/27) in another room w/ another person! Tammy finagled this reservation and all 4 people did not even have a problem during check in. She also helped me make reservations for John’s grandparents who required 2 handicapped rooms. Dreams accommodated us so much…they gave us the 2 handicapped rooms and a third room (which was a 2 bedroom suite…free upgrade…I definitely think it was b/c we booked thru her) all side by side for John’s parents and his 2 sets of grandparents. Amazing service! Tammy also helped me out through the wedding planning process. If I was unsure about a certain vendor, she would talk to me about it and gave me reassurance about my decision. There was also a mishap w/ my welcome dinner location, which she totally fixed for me. Tammy is truly the best! She works very closely with Dreams, she is honest, organized, funny, and really easy to work with. I highly recommend her services to anyone!!!!! PS I'm working on my wedding review....

Here's us at our Welcome Dinner/Casino Night. We were initially going to have it at Oceana Terrace, but there was a misunderstanding. Thanks to Tammy, we ended up having it at Portofino and having the Casino outside on the grassy area. It ended up to be the perfect spot. All our guests loved it and had so much fun! Dreams had "Mexican Theme Night" at El Patio and David Maldonado (one of the activity staff) asked the Mariachi Band that was going to play there swing by our party first. It was a 10 person band and they were soooo good! John and I were so surprised. BTW, John's 92 yo grandma is there in the pic! She traveled to Cabo just for us. And here's a pic of my parents and my flower girl, Malia. Isn't she sooo pretty?!?!

We had such an amazing week filled with so many awsome, unforgettable memories. Everyone in our group, all 87 of them, kept on saying that it was the "wedding of the year"!!! I have sooooooo much to tell you guys and I promise to post my review soon. We were so busy, that we didn't take a lot of pics. So as they come, I'll post them Here's my hair/make-up trial at Suzanne Morel's Spa. She is an amazing woman and her staff is completely professional. They stayed with us the whole day and even helped sew one of the BMs dresses! My Hair was up for the ceremony and down for the reception...totally her idea...and it was perfect.

Thanks everyone! I am so excited to be leaving tomorrow. I totally need a vacation and we're so stoked to get married! Prim & Pixie did all the printing. All the wedding paper accessories are really simple, so it was pretty inexpensive. All i have to do today is get my nails done and get waxed...and I'm all set!!!
