The officiant that comes w/ their package is John Fagan [email protected]. He quickly responds to emails. If you want him to come to your wedding rehearsal the evening before he charges $100 for 30 min. I was turned off by him a little at first b/c he told me the ceremony I wrote was too long...he's probably right and giving me good advice. So, I shortened mine a bit...and am happy w/ it now.

Did any of you do a wedding rehearsal the evening before your wedding? Is it necessary? I am planning on it (just to appease my nerves) and want our officiant (John Fagan) to be there. He charges $100 for half an hour for a rehearsal. He says we can get it done w/in that time. Our ceremony isn't elaborate...just two readings.

This was the price quote from Maye: Screen & Projector $350.00 Screen, Projector & Audio $450.00 Screen, Projector, Audio, Mic & Speakers $550.00 Person in charge & Delivery $60.00 It includes the adaptor for the IPOD (the screen and projector is for our photo montage that we will be playing throughout our reception) Not sure what person in charge means??

Just an FYI, i emailed Maye to see if she can coordinate w/ Dreams to provide room slippers for our guests. She said yes...and it's complimentary!!!! Not sure if they normally do this, but when i went there for a site visit, i didn't get any. So ask away Dreams BTB!

Got an email from Yesica the other day regarding Casino night. $800 for set up, material and staff (i'm thinking we will still have to pay the $25 pp fee for a private event). It'll include poker, blackjack, etc. (what other games...don't know...she put etc.) They will provide poker chips and cards. We're still unsure if we are going to splurge on this event for our guests, since it's $$$. It's just that so many of our guest LOVE gambling....and there are no vegas style casinos in Cabo.

Just checked the Dreams website for room rates up till May...that is a smokin' hot deal! I'd definately take advantage of it if I were getting married during those months. Hopefully they'll be a deal like this for Dreams, for my Oct. 2008 wedding...!!!!!

She's pricey...but everyone who used her loved how they looked. Another salon, Mex Sun had good reviews. I think cheese diva used them and her hair and makeup turned out beautiful too. I was considering them as well.
