  3. I think you should register for things you want/need from one of your fav stores, the guests usually know to attach or include a gift reciept and you can go return it and get the $$$! If no reciept, find out what store and switch it in for something you love! Just an idea, but it wouldn't hurt to just ask either...
  4. Some photographer's are willing to travel for trade of services! To build their portfolio and of course, enjoy a free trip, however, i would be nice to take home a little extra for the MANY hours of editing and post production done afterwards, just talk to him and ask him how he feels, BEST WISHES!
  5. that would be AWESOME!!! keep me updated, beats the beach to us who are spoiled with it
  6. What an AMAZING idea! BESt of luck to all of you, kick that booty to beauty!!! WOOHOO!
  7. This is very regular for alot of vendors, if you have a problem with the whole 1/2, he/she should be able to work with you, otherwise if youre comfortable with them and feel their totally reliable/legit, book away! BEST WISHES!!!
  8. VERY GOOD work, one of the best i've seen on here, thanks for sharing!
  9. I'm going there in MAy too to scout out locations and shoot a wedding! Let me know what you find, advice i've gotten so far has been to rent a villa and there are TONS of beautiful private ones either 20-30 min NORTH or 20-30 min SOUTH of PV, i'm trying to stay away from the nightlife and "tourist" feel and want something very private and modern, any suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance & best wishes!!!

Of course the first thought is photographer, but that is is what i do, not describing ME...i'd say...DREAMCATCHER...is that one word haha... ok, next question... What is your next big goal in life (and can't say get married! ) ?
  11. That actually is the norm! 3-4 ceremony, 330/5 pics, 5-6 maybe do first dances and toasts, then dinner at 530/6, if you want to push everything back and start the ceremony late, just arrange to see eachother before and do pics then, then during your cocktail hour you can actually relax and visit!
  12. birdcage veils, flowers, or feathers are so beautiful, unique and edgy to mix things up, and veils are always fun, long ones are great for pics, either way, you usually kiss it goodbye after the ceremony!
  13. I think you got most of us agreeing on to get what you want, but it's super cute to wait a year (or 5) after the wedding to "upgrade" too!
  14. Once you cut sweets and naughties out of your diet you won't even crave them anymore, expecially fast food, you will actually feel sick after eating it if you're used to healthy stuff. DRINK water when you feel hungry, alot of time, it's actually thirst and build up your metabalism by eating about every 3 hours, but LIMITED to a handful of nuts, luna bar, or fruit. American food portians do not help in this matter, seriously, if you go out, ask for a box as you get your food, divide everything in half, eat your portion and you will actually be full of half instead of walking away stuffed! Then you have another meal for tomorrow's lunch This has helped a ton and I finally put down the big bucks and got a personal trainer! I know this is easier said than done, but you ALL are STRONG women, MIND over matter, FIGHT and kick some booty and those pounds!!!
  15. i LOVE the last one (the blue one)!HAVE FUN!
  16. I think they're a nationwide company and that is what loses great customer service and great talent. I have worked along side one DJ before and he was pretty good, if she meets with them and gets to meet the individuals personally and gets a good vibe, i'd say it's a deal!?

    I'm a Newbie!!

    WELCOME! Sounds beautiful, best wishes!!!
  18. I have never been one into veils, i've seen very few that don't just look like a cut piece of tool floating around your head. I would suggest investing in a GREAT one that is almost like silk and doesn't have too much texture, the ones with lace around the edges are pretty too if that matches the dress..and always waist long or longer. BUT I always suggest the Birdcage!
  19. Beautiful! Lace is so elegant. I have had SO many brides with a little lace on their dresses and it looks so classy. This bride had a burgundy velvet sash she wore folded so it was thin and tied to a loose bow in the back. I think something like this would look great on you as well, if you don't want color, maybe white/off-white satin? BEST WISHES!
