  3. ARGH!!! How rude! So sorry you had to go through that, this makes me sick to think that people are doing that, i'd definately take up some legal action! Hope all works out with the new TA and WC, best wishes!!!
  4. YAY! They found a location, they were smart and hired a coordinator to help them, since i'm definately not one! HA! Thanks so much for your help, they went with a place called the Lloyd House in Alexandria, Virginia and their reception is at Marriott Key Bridge. It looks like it'll work out with alot of time in between to take pics, my favorite...thanks for your help everyone!!!

Thanks! The groom is looking for something outdoors and non-religous setting-they already got a reception site, so only ceremony & photo location needed, i know, not much details, but i'm still looking for him...the rooftop at HayAdams looks awesome!
  6. Thanks! "Dashboard Confessionals" ROCK, my fav band of all time...
  7. SWEEEEET! I'm totally doing that! maybe get a foam ball for the center and have a ton of small "filler" shells to fill in the gaps, you'll have to wire them and be gentle so it doesn't break!
  8. Many photogs LOVE to travel and can work with you on packages or pricing and many starting out will even do trade or keep an eye out for contests. Find someone you LOVE, that fits your style and you connect with, it's so important to make your day run smoothly. Best wishes!!!
  9. ok, so not the best pic, but you could do something like this? What kind of flowers are you doing? Red flowers/roses would look good on top, then have a gold heart hanging from bottom of flowers on fishline. Glass vase filled with water with chrystals/gems/hearts on bottom? Best wishes!
  10. Sorry, don't have much of the view in my slide! Darnit, i found this one: Photo credit: Stephanie Williams Wish i would of went to the rooftop for a sunset shot, next time! Thanks and good sunset Yari, we should totally set up a socal meet on the rooftop!!!

  13. BEAUTIFUL location!!! Rooftop ceremony location overlooking ocean, ocean access for beach formals, small hotel in middle of laguna, but outside of the touristy part. Awesome food. Beautiful art. I think you're even able to reserve the entire hotel for weddings, is just gorgeous, can't wait to do another wedding there! ENJOY! Here's their website: Laguna Beach Resort Hotel, Laguna Beach, California, CA - La Casa del Camino Hotel... It doesn't have very many pics, so hope this helps give a better idea: Amir & Amy's Wedding Day!

  17. WOOHOO! Congrats! You'll be staring at your ring finger for months with a big cheesy smile
  18. My sister just came to visit last week with her little 2 year old. The ESSENTIAL thing was a small travel DVD player, it kept mama busy and able to take a shower or clean the house/cook. Any DVDs - they have to be 20-30 min at most (short attention span), and ones with songs and activities are best, not really a story. Books are GREAT and puzzles, just learning to count and abc's, good luck!
  19. Hi there!!! Anyone know of any amazing Washington DC wedding Ceremony locations!?!?!?!
  20. Thank you Lori! It was our pleasure working with you and Richard, you two are such a beautiful couple and are so fortunate to have shared in this amazing day with you!!! View trash the dress pics and video here: Kristi Klemens' BLOG I'll have the slideshow up soon!!!
  21. Right before the reception, UNLESS if you're REALLY worried about it getting a little dirty during pics, but that's just silly, cuz the rest of the night, no one else will see it!!! HAVE FUN!
  22. HAHA! So glad i could get ya'll rilled up! Happy negetive on year!!!
  23. I heard it's absolutely AMAZING, and a beautiful culture and super cheap to fly around the area to check out different spots! Best wishes!!!
  24. Hi there! We're also in the middle of deciding where we'll have our wedding in Mexico! I'll be heading to Riviera Maya in Dec and just got back from PV. It was beautiful, but totally different from Cancun area. It's a ton of culture, flea markets, and does have alot of historic places to check out. When i went to Cancun quite a few years ago, all i remember is BLUE BLUE water and it being so clean, open land and touristy. I guess we'll see when i head back! Hope this helps a little, let me know if you have any questions
