awww.. thanks guys!!! i def love it too.. my absolute favorite so far... its by anne barge... its a lil pricier than i originally wanted to spend, so i'm gonna try to find it a lil cheaper, but i dunno if it'll happen.. the material is silk taffeta.. very very light.. and its blush! i originally always thought i would want a white dress, but when i put that dress on, i absolutely loved and and changed my mind... its gonna have some extra roses put on the skirt with a some stones, to give it a lil more umph... but i think this might be it! :-) AAAND! I FINALLY GOT A WEDDING DATE! Jan 17, 2009... i got my medical school rotation schedule for 3rd and 4th year, so now i can finally start planning.. just have to pick a place... i guess thats the hardest part though :-(

wow.. thanks for all the informations.. it was really helpful.. i hope you have an amazing wedding!!! and i would like to hear all about it when you get back! a few questions/concerns I have: i love the gazebo setting for the ceremony.. however, im not sure about the actual reception.. i have close to 100 people, and wanted something more formal.. do you, or anyone actually know if the RPRM has something like this? or is it really casual in one of their restaurants.. ?? and is it more like just dinner, or can I actually have an entire party there? i like the riu but i dont know if i need to find a different hotel with more of a hall available? I saw people with other photographers there? is the only way of getting them them in by getting them a room overnight? i wanted an outside photographer because i wasnt sure if the resort one was any good? any info?

Hey guys... so im thinking of doing it at riviera maya jan 2009 I was talking to some people about the weather in Riviera Maya in Jan.. and they said that you cant really go swimming in the ocean bc the waves are just too vicious.. is that true? anyone been there or had a wedding there in jan and can tell me how it was? the second question i have is resorts.. i was looking at riu palace riviera maya, riu palace mexico, and dreams tulum... its hard to choose considering ive never been there? any advice.. im having about 100 people and i want a more formal elegant wedding.. im thinking of having it in a gazebo overlooking the ocean, at sunset with candles.. i can picture it in my head, just dont know which place would be the best for what im looking for... any advice would sooooo greatly be appreciated!

Does that help you? is the reception playing is for you? i guess i have to ask whatever place i have the wedding if they have the equipment to play a dvd?

I tried posting this in the enterainment thread, but no response.. i'll try it here... : Hey guys... I was at a few weddings at home where the bride and groom played a "love story" video during the receptions.. with pictures of them as babies, growing up, as they met and then together... does anyone do this for DWs? I really liked the idea, and the guests loved it, but I dont know if it woud be feasible... any ideas? heres a couple of examples that were played at receptions: YouTube - Love Story Wedding Picture Montage Slideshow Examples - Paloma and Ben

Those are def the hottest pictures I have ever seen... I never even thought about doing a TTD session.. but after seeing those pictures, I definetely want to! Do you usually do them the day after the wedding, or how does it work? you guys got soo lucky with a photographer who got some great shots! Normally, do you hire someone for those? Whew.. still amazed at how hot those pictures are ;-)
