  1. i know oriental trading has the faux banana leaves, i just saw them in the catalog. Party supplies, crafts, party decorations, toys: Oriental Trading
  2. my mom actually just went through this about 3 months ago. it was also her first mammogram and they told her that there was some dense tissue they were concerned about. it actually got really crazy because the doctor accidentally gave her the wrong folder... the folder they gave her was for a woman WITH cancer. needless to say we all went crazy for a day until the mistake was realized. but anyway, it ended up just being thick tissue and it's not uncommom in women with large breasts, which my mom has. so i know it's really unnerving, but try not to stress until there is something to stress about.. i'm sure you'll be fine and we're thinking about you.
  3. i have another shower question... when filling out the card do you sign it from you and your fi? or just you because it's a girl event and fi isn't there...? not sure what "etiquette" is on this one.

  5. sure thing. it literally feels like water so you don't feel it at all once dry. it goes on like a mist, not really a spray. you're supposed to put it on first before moisturizing and let it dry. then put it on afterwards to set in the makeup. it has a light clean smell. some of the ingredients are green tea, chamomile, and cucumber. it was $14. does that help? if you have other questions let me know.

  7. ooh i'm doing this as well. i bought a green and white flowered photo box from michael's for everyone to put the postcards in when finished. i also printed a note on a similiar green paper as the photo box (i think the note says something like "Please share your favorite memories and well wishes. We can't wait to read them when we get back from our honeymoon!") i bought a dark wood picture frame to put the note in and i figure i'll scatter the table with some petals. i'll take a pic at some point.
  8. i have a day of the dead cake topper too! it's seriously my favorite thing we have so far!

  15. thanks everyone! i think i'll go with the first one.. assuming there isn't a major price difference between the two. i'm getting it made from OccanseyDesigns Custom Wedding Veils - OBridal.com Quote: Originally Posted by LeXiee I vote for Number 1!!! 16. i'm working with occansey designs (where ann is on the homepage!) and they've been really great. i was very against a veil so i really love that they are incredibly attentive, respond to my emails very quickly and i can customize it how i want. it really makes me feel better. if i had to try and find something on ebay, i don't think i would have bothered with the whole thing. i'm getting a mantilla and they sent me a ton of lace options. i'm waiting on my final quote so i'll let you know how much it comes out to.
