What weird comments about he c/s! I had one and while it was strange (being awake while having surgery!) it was nothing. You have a good attitude about all this. Your baby will be perfect!

I didn't have anything atypical which was good since there was two. My biggest issue was that I was measuring about five weeks bigger than a normal pregnancy and my belly was so heavy. I gained 38 pounds and no joke it was all around my waist. Might sound fine in theory but it was extremely difficult to carry around. We also had one heartrate scare where I was sent to triage but that was it. I was pretty lucky.

i don't have any wedding info, but i was there last summer for vacation and it is gorgeous. my hubby said repeatedly that it would be a fantastic wedding venue. we had a wonderful stay- i think your guests would love it.

aww this is fun. i already had my kids though, hopefully i can still chime in here. we started TTC in july 2010 and got pregnant right away. then we went in for a 10 week ultrasound and got the biggest surprise of our lives when they told us it was twins. i made it all the way to my scheduled c-section at 38 weeks and 2 days with no bedrest or other issues. we have a boy and a girl, so yep we are all done. and meBonidie, even with the drugs from my c/s, i breastfed right away. one of the twins had to have a little formula on two occasions because his weight dropped a lot. but i bf'd both for 5 months. i stopped then because i went back to work and the pumping was out of control.

this is a weird venue for a fight...

i got married in july and used them anyway. dotd has certainly become commercialized enough where i wouldn't think it's an issue. do you have mexican guests? otherwise not sure who you are worried about offending?

i think that is SEEMS tough, but honestly we couldn't have had an easier time. car picked us up in playa del carmen, took us through customs on the border, next to the airport, puddle jumper to ambergris. it was about a half day trip and we let the driver do all the work!

congrats cindy! i'm 37 weeks with boy/girl twins. can't wait to meet these kids!!

ack, i don't totally remember. i would think yes though. but the good news is if i don't remember, it couldn't have been too expensive!

for nj- go to your township and apply for a marriage liscence. when you are there you'll receive the name of a judge/officiant. it depends on the size of your township but for us there was only one. we called and talked to him and set up a time. because NJ doesn't have JPs you can get married anywhere, basically. we had him follow us down to a marina by our house and he did it there. but he would have done it in the living room if we asked him to. hope that helps. this was 2 years ago though so i'm not sure if anything changed.

i gave away all my leftovers for free. but as always, it depends on the circumstance.

oh yea to update- on my recent trip to canada i got the grope. it was modified though i think... nothing up the legs but everything else. they didn't really give me the scanner option. in the end it wasn't horrible, for all they know i could have been smuggling something up my shirt so they paid a lot of attention to my belly, and it was a woman and she was nice about it knowing i'm pregnant. it wouldn't stop me from traveling.

i'm flying from philly to canada this weekend and i'm 4 months pregnant with twins... not sure what i'll do, i may just opt for the groping. at least with a groping i won't feel nervous that i did something harmful to my babies.

ooh sorry just saw this. no they were "spontaneous" twins. we get to find out the sex on december 10! can't wait.

oooh i was thinking about this too, but for me it would be between the kindle and nook. i think i'll go with the kindle though.
