Like you I, I'm gonna need lotsa luck & hope that they come out half as good as hers did!

I really want a bacholorette party, but I don't want to have to ASK anyone to throw it for me. This is a tough spot to be in but I say if you were good enough to throw your own shower then just bite the bullet & organize your own bach party! From planning this wedding I've learned that if we wait for people/our so called good friends, to do things for us, they'll never get done. I know you don't want to have to ask anyone to do it for you so maybe this is the best option. Also, at least if you throw it, you'll wind up doing what you want to do as opposed to going someplace that you wouldn't have really liked. Why not give it some more time & see what your friends do. Maybe they'll surprise you & get it together.
  5. I agree with everyone else...Its beautiful & if you LOVE it then you should get it!

I mean like you said, they're plastic. I'd just be prepared in the event that you get stopped & they make you open up your bag. My concern is how the hell am I getting allllllll this stuff that I have in mind down there. I know I'm gonna have at least 2 bags of just wedding stuff. I know I'm giving some things to family & friends to bring but geez this is really adding up. I just pray that my bags are not overweight....

Like "I love Jamaica" or "Ocho Rios Jamaica" with a palm tree or something. I don't want to get anything with our names & date cuz I'm not too sure that people would really be into wearing shirts again when they are home, that have our names on them, especially the guys.
  8. Funny that you mentioned this. We sent out STD's and the guests that were interested replied & they are now booked. I was going to send out invitations soon but kept putting it off. FI's uncle call's the other day & says "Hey, where's my invitation?" Mind you, he's already booked! I was like "Uh, it's coming!" So needless to say I'm getting my invitations ready. I guess people still look forward to receiving something official even though they've already booked. I'm only sending invites to those guests who already booked. I don't think I'd rely on word of mouth because people tend to forget details. Do you really want people calling you over & over asking the same questions that they could get from the invite? I think you should send something even if its an e-vite.

It has the tags & has never been worn. I bought it for $70including shipping. PM me if you're interested. Here's the picture: jcrew dress.doc

But I figured that since this was a sample sale it would be worth a try.

I'm gonna go check out what I picked the 1st time, but this one looks great! I looks like it fits you perfect. I love the beading, the sash & the little brooch on the sash. Like Amy said you look great in all of them. I don't know how you're ever gonna pick. LOL. How do you feel about the new one you posted?
  14. I agree with everyone else! When you have it on you'll know. You won't ever want to take it off. Or, even though you leave it in the store, you'll find yourself thinking about it/daydreaming about it later that day, later that night, the next morning, etc. Definitely try to take pics & compare them on yourself. Most impt, don't pressure or rush yourself. You'll know it when you find it. Good luck.
  15. When we went we were looking for snacks, water & drinks so we didn't really pay attn to the regular stuff. They'll probably have the pail & stuff for kids since lots of people bought water things from there. But it did look like any other Walmart.

And I don't want the guys complaining that the ladies are receiving special treatment! LOL

Kelly is putting the new boyfriend's trip on her credit card ... and he's going to reimburse her. Hmmm ... wonder if that will happen ... Great news! Glad that it worked out & you didn't have to be too involved. He's gonna reimburse her? . Yeah right!!! She must've fallen pretty hard.
  19. Sorry to hear that. I hope you find something else that you love even more!
  20. I vote for the hairpins too, especially since you loved them as a child!
