  2. Stephanie, again, it sucks that you are still going thru this. I was sure that after that last incident, she was kicking him out & wasn't looking back. I don't know how your mother doesn't think that her future husband not getting to want to know her childern/family makes any sense! That in itself should be the BIGGEST red flag ever. I guess you & Chris have to figure out what really means more to you-not having him at the wedding & having her pout & not be happy, or sacrificing your wants & having him at the wedding just to see her happy. Thats a tough spot to be in. Just hang in there as much as you can and here's to hoping that one day soon, your mom see's that this isn't the best situation for her to be in!
  3. to the forum Penny! You will definitely love it here.

But in the long run this could be very serious. I dont mean to freak you out just dont be stubborn about it either. I agree, you should definitely go see a chiropractor. I've had back problems for years & never went to see one until recently when I started having shoulder & neck pain as well. It does help & I was amazed at the results that I noticed after going for the 1st week. It will take time for you to get 100% better but it really does help.

We splurged a little and bought our guests coffee to take home (small 2oz bags) for $4 each. Also a big hit! So true, the biggest advantage is in not having to pack all those shirts to take down. I also forgot about the great coffee & rum! My list of ideas gets longer & longer! : ) Quote: Originally Posted by Kat81 Thanks for the info... that will be so useful! I love you guys! I know the Vistaprint deal, but you still pay for shipping which is $4-5 per shirt. Also, if you buy plain shirts and iron-on a logo, it will probably be more expensive. Just a thought. Also, from our ceremony, the fans were DEFINITELY used - and not just by the women - lol! I totally did not think about buying the shirts while we were there! This would work since we aren't personalizing them. I was going to use the same design from my OOT bag on the shirt but buying the shirts there is definitely an option. Thanks again for all of your help/suggestions.

The bags were big enough to fit 2 big towels and all of our other stuff with lots of room to spare. These are big beach bags. Our guests definitely used them, and I think they will likely reuse them (which was our hope)! We also changed our logo so that it was just the location, to encourage reuse. The bags were also VERY easy to iron-on a design. The only suggestion I would have would be to order by phone from Dharma. I had made a few online purchases the night I ordered from Dharma, and during one of them (no way to be sure which) my credit card info was stolen! I know we are all online gals, but take the time to call them just in case it was their website. I did speak to them about it and they were very nice on the phone. Who knows, you might be able to get a bigger discount from them on the phone too! If you have any other questions let me know! Thanks so much for the info Jenn!

I just want to know for sure so I can start making things up with the correct date! I noticed that they just put up 2009 rates on their wedding site... so maybe thats a good sign. I will just keep having my TA submit our request weekly until they finally let me book. Good luck with that! Like you said it has to be a good sign now that the 2009 rates are up. Have you tried to contact the Wedding Sales Coordinator Carolina?

  14. Very, very pretty. Love the veil too. It really does look like it fits you perfectly! Congrats on getting it & being able to say that you love it!

If we got married at home, I would have had no problem paying a lot more for pics, but they would have been more the style that I wanted-cameo/documentary type. Good luck with whatever decision you make! I think your pics came out excellent without having used Michael. I honestly thought that you had a "professional" photog as opposed to family & friends. You also did a great job putting them together.

If you take the travel mug with you, the bartender will usually put your drink in your mug as opposed to the "little plastic cup"! So you get more to drink & you make less trips to the bar for drinks & you have a nice souvenior/keepsake from the wedding. Its a win-win situation I guess. LOL There are many options, travel mugs, stadium cups, DIY cups etc... I would love to get the large size - but I'm trying to decide if I want to splurge or not considering I'm estimating needing around 75 tote bags (and yes, this is counting 1 bag per couple - I just happen to have a lot of guests (estimating btwn 100 and 120) and a lot of them are coming w/o sig others, even if they have sig others! I guess a nicer bag + screenprinting logo is worth it if I put less inside. So far I am planning on pashminas for the ladies (unless I have them at the wedding reception instead), and my maybes are: shot glass w/logo flipflop or fish playing cards welcome letter spanish/english phrases (make my own) bookmarks w/logo (vista print or make my own?) travel candle with logo? debating medicine (advil, immodium, pepcid) I sent Jenn a PM asking to confirm which size bag she ordered. I don't know why I thought that she got the 14" ones, but what you just said about the corona box has me thinking cuz that's kinda short! And 75 bags...WOW....100 to 120 guests....another WOW!! LOL I just need about 20-25. So far I have pashmina's for women, t-shirts for men, travel mug, first aid kit with advil/immodium, chapstick, gum/mints/candy, flip flops, playing cards, welcome letter, mini body butter & maybe body soap. I'm praying that I won't think of anything else to put in there. I think that this should all fit nicely into 1 bag. And actually now that I think of it, I don't think anyone is going to carry all of that with them when they use the bag. They'll probably just have the bag filled with a beach towel & maybe the mug when they're going to the beach. So as long as a beach towel & mug can fit in them, that should work!
