It was more than I had asked for and it was stunning. We brought our own IPOD, note though that your reception runs in the evening the same time as the show which is upstairs so our "speeches" had to be shouted quite loud to overcome the noise but once our music started you couldnt tell anymore. Dr.Hubby thanks so much for sharing your review! I can't wait to see your pics. I do have 1 question. The beach bar that you're referring to, is that the Dunn River Bar or Seagrape? What kind of private party did you have at the beach bar? Was it after your reception or did you have a welcome party there? It seems the setup was beautiful so I'm just curious. Thanks so much!

So I guess it might depend what you are putting in them. I will go take a picture. For as many as I needed to take with me, I decided the canvas ones would pack better. 4. Hey Courtney, we still have rooms available under our block. We are finalizing our reservations on Monday so let me know what you're in need of.

  6. Dara, Thanks so much for sharing your pre-wedding experience! I'm glad that you have such positive things to say as all the past ROR brides have.

And I'm happy to share any info. I'm just spreading the love!!!!

I looked up on FedEx what it would cost to ship 45 lbs (which is what Dharma says it is) by ground shipping (the cheapest way) and it was $44.34. So that is an extra $23.81 . If the rest of the girls split it, it would ruin their savings, no? And I don't want to pay more than ordering alone, sorry to be selfish. UPS and the post office were more expensive. Another consideration is the additional time I'd have to wait...I would like to get them by mid-March latest because my screenprinting turnaround time is 3 weeks. So - I guess it is up to the rest of you to calculate if this is worthwhile? It doesn't seem like I'll get to save anything in this, but I would like to help out if it helps, but I'm not so sure. it would be nice to save too, considering how many I'm ordering... I wish they'd just give us a freaking bulk order savings code! I would say that we need to get a final, exact count from everyone interested, so that we know the total amount of bags we'd need. Then, if someone else would like to call Dharma & speak to David about additional discounts besides the $3.85 they gave us, or a BDW code that people could use individually, we could see what happens & take it from there. But I definitely think we need a final, total count so that we can make sure we get the best discount possible. If the discount code doesn't work, then I think we can go with ordering & shipping to the area that has the least expensive shipping expense & splitting it. Does that sound feasible Either way, I'd say we should figure this out by Monday. I need to get on the ball & get these bags outta the way. I feel like I'm so behind & such a slacker.LOL

  16. I'd definitely contact to book the things you want as soon as you get the confirmation for your date. I found that things really book up rather quickly so I'm glad that I made my arrangements early on.
  17. Congratulations & Welcome Angela. You will love it here & find lots of helpful info.
  18. Jenn, I think you were away becoming a MRS when this happened. I have to try to find the thread, but if I remember correctly, they got rid of it cuz it was slowing the board down. I think this was right before Tammy upgraded the server. Morgan posted it for ya!
  19. Welcome to the forum. You will really find lots of info here.
  20. Chocolate allll the way!!! If there was 1 thing that you could re-do/change about your life or something that you've done in the past what would it be?
  21. Definitely #3, like everyone's said, its your day & all about you. You should get the bouquet that you really want.
