I don't know how the heck he can sleep at night doing business the way he does. But, whatever!!! I'm just glad that this worked out for all of us. FI & I had just gone to test the waters yesterday to see what the prices were in the garment district & they quoted about $5. But again I'm glad that this works out!! Definitely do what you want to do. If your hearts are set on this, don't change your plans for anyone else. All that matters are you & FI. Remember that no matter what you do, you can not & will not please everyone. Someone will have something to say no matter what you do, where you do it & how you do it. If this is the case, you may as well be happy & do things the way that you want them done. This is your day, not theirs. You'll have to live with these memories for a lifetime. Why sacrifice your happiness just to make your wedding convenient for other people Just think about those that are ready, willing & able to travel with you & FI. Those are the people that support you & thats what you should think about. I know its probably easier said than done, but try to go ahead with your plans & just put the negativity behind you. I cringe everytime I think about how close I was to canceling our DW & changing the location just to satisfy my family members who don't want to travel!!! Too bad for them cuz I plan on having the time of my life, without them! It did take me a while to get to this point & get over the bad feelings/disappointment of those not coming, but I'm over it now & so glad that I got here.

I'll try to help you out here. Basically, you have the option to hide things that appear when you make a post in a thread, or show them. For instance, when you look under a thread for which you posted something, you'll see all these things under your name. Right under where it says karma, you'll notice some people have icons. Those are gifts & ribbons. You can hide those from appearing everytime you post, or show them. Same thing with the points. When you post, do you want others to see your points? If not, hide them. If that doesn't bother you, show them. Do not receive a PM upon receiving a new Gift?: YesNo Do not receive a PM upon receiving a new Ribbon?: YesNo When you receive a PM, you get notified. When someone else sends you a gift or a ribbon, you'll usually receive a PM to notify you that someone has sent it. Do you want to be notified that you received a gift of ribbon? If so, then you would select no. I hope this helps some.

I'm bringing them for men & women. There's a thread on here about the things that people really used & the fans were on that list. Once I read that someone actually saw the men using them, thats when I decided to have them for the men too.

As you can see, you aren't alone! I think that with most big events in our lives, there comes some stress. I too have had the same issues, people who rsvp'd yes & then backed out, family members who complained about the location not being "conveinent for them", family & lifelong friends who aren't coming for various reasons. At 1 point, FI & I were even considering changing our DW from Jamaica to Vegas, just to please our families who were complaining about going to scary/unsafe/too far away Jamaica! We were all ready to cancel & rebook!!!! The bottom line is that you can't please everyone & no matter what you do, someone else is going to complain, the only things/people that should matter are you & FI. As long as you two are doing what you want, how you want, where you want, then no one else matters. It took me venting to BDW to figure that out. So at a time, I didn't feel like it was worth it & was depressed/discouraged. I got through it & now I'm excited & grateful for those who are making the sacrifice to join us. You will get through this too.

They all look great on you. I think I like #'s 1, 3 & 5 the most! Let us know when you make the final decision!

I've been trying to get this figured out for 2 days. Today I even went to Staples & Office Depot to try to get some help & they were unable to help me. Basically, I had a problem before trying to figure out how to get clip art that I inserted to actually print. It would show up on the screen but when I did a print preview, the image would disappear. I posted that issue & Becks & Chiquita saved the day & I was able to save it properly & got it to appear & print. Now, I decided to try to add our names to go beside the clip art image & it just wont work AT ALL! I don't know what I'm doing but I'm about to seriously throw the computer out of the window. But before I do that I figured I'd ask for your help yet again. So here is the invite & all I'm trying to do is get our names on either side of the palm tree or the palm tree in between our names...if that makes sense.
