And yes, I'm tempted to get the tissues but I KNOW FI would be like "are you serious"?

Once I saw these I really thought they were nice, especially all of the poems. So I'll prob get these & something else. Funny thing is, when I went to pick up my dress, they had the same hankies by the register!!! I couldn't believe it. For some reason they didn't seem as nice as they do online so I'm still tempted to get them online.

I too like the ribbon but I'm on a time constraint & I'm going to just use my own. But since you said that, I may go check out Party City. For those interested in ordering it keep in mind that according to the site it takes 10 days alone to process the order for the personalized ribbon, not including weekends or holidays. Also, that's not including shipping time which is additional days. I wasn't going to put them on each plate but was considering having a favor table. The problem with that is that if I just left them out, I'd think that each person would probably take 1, not thinking they are supposed to be 1 per couple!!! So I guess either way you look at it, I'd be better off doing 1 per person even though that's not quite what my pockets had in mind! Ok, I just re-ran my #'s and technically there's not really a big difference if I give out 1 favor per person. So, I guess thats what I'm going to do. I'm definitely going to have to show FI these #'s cuz I'm not going to hear the end of it from him!!! Thanks for your input!!!
  13. Not too hijack, but a quick question...in terms of couples, is it 1 favor per couple or 1 per person?

  15. Not cheesy at all. My girlfriend gave out CD favors at her wedding, which wasn't a DW!

  17. Here ya go [email protected] I've been trying to reach her for the last 2 weeks as well to make sure she received my documents & I haven't heard from her. I called her last night but she was already gone for the day! I'll be trying again today.

  20. I too say keep your plans. If he knows your date is already set, why in the hell would he want to schedule his wedding 1 month before yours? Also, your plans are already made, his are "in the making". Why rearrange your plans for something thats still an "idea"? Lets say you changed your date just to avoid the conflict of his "potential" date & for whatever reason his plans fall through? Then you did all of that for nothing & you could've kept your original date! I say he better consider himself lucky that you're even thinking about this and go about his merry way with a date after yours!
  21. Looked great! Love the theme & decorations, especially those centerpieces with the shells-that was really cute!
  22. If you feel that you're going to cry or be catty, then don't go. If its not in your heart & you're not feeling it, then don't bother. Why go & be misearble? It seems like you're going thru enough with this situation so don't put yourself through additional stress! Do something else enjoyable that day & don't think twice about not being there.
  23. Savannah, although I still can't quite figure out what I'm gonna do, all of your advice is great. Now if only I could just hire you & bring you to JA with me!?!?!? LOL...I'd have no worries about my hair at all!

Our plane was super small, so there was no way it would fit in the overhead bin. On the second plane, it would have fit just fine in the bin, but they offered again for the cockpit after I asked and everything was fine:) So I may have to shed a few tears huh? Thats fine with me! I'm not going to be able to manage. I just hope he carries it "neatly"! Quote: Originally Posted by LALA I just bought a white flat sheet and wrapped it around my dress inside the bag. The bag they gave me just feels too flimsy & lord knows I don't need any accidents to happen to it while in transit. Talk about bridezilla!!!! I think you'd all hear about me on the news!!!
