You will be a MRS when you return. You don't need that license to sign your name MRS. Also remember, you will get a temporary marriage license while you're there so that will be your proof that you're an official married woman! LOL Also, don't worry about the rain...weather.com predicted rain for us too and I don't remember it raining but 1 day! HAVE FUN!!!

Sarah, you did a great job with EVERYTHING!!! I love the 3 dresses, the invites, the starfish for the placecards, the cake cutter with the starfish handles, especially the personalized cards for your bm's....Did I say that I love everything!! Congrats!

You should definitely have all of your ceremony music on 1 cd. We did this & I think it made it much easier, especially for Chandlyn.

Congrats on booking your date! I remember how excited I was to do that. Lets see....in terms of the photographer, some of us had problems, some didn't. If you chose to bring your own photographer, just keep in mind that they may or may not be approached by the on-site photographer. Hopefully, you'll be fine in that area unless they drastically change their policy on this. Your TA is correct, Chandlyn typically won't contact you until 2 months before your wedding. However, you can email her anytime you want, with any questions that you have. She is typically extremely busy & it may take her a few days (or weeks) to respond, but she will eventually. Being that your wedding isn't until next year, she may be slower to respond. In the meantime, you can start to think about what you really want in terms of your ceremony & reception. Do you know what location you'd like to have the ceremony & reception? If you do, I suggest emailing Chandlyn with your request so that it is reserved. The restaurants tend to get booked early, especially if there are other weddings on the same day as yours. Do you know what flowers you'd like, other decorations? Have you started looking at STD's & invitations? There is so much that you could do now...so get to it!! LOL Hope I've helped you out a bit!

Congrats on the name change! I'm in the stages of changing my name on eveything & its been such a hassle. Calling all the credit card companies & every company wanting a different piece of info is sooo annoying. I have yet to do the impt things such as my license, ss card, or passport. I can only imagine what fun that will be! And I definitely thank you for giving me the heads up as to what to expect in Queens! I dread going to the Jamaica office....sigh! Men should be mandated to accompany us on any name-change trips that we have to make!

Reading your review, when I got to the part about the disco, it was like I had deja-vu as the same things happened to us-no one ever came to get us & the smell inside was HORRIBLE! But, you know as the night went on, that was the last thing on my mind & I'm sure on yours as well! LOL!!! Again, congrats on everything turning out so wonderful!
