  1. I don't know if this will help you but I just turned to the Travel Channel & they are showing Jamaica:Paradise Uncovered. They are looking at some AI's in Jamaica!
  2. They all look really nice on you but #1 is by far my fav! I also really like #2, especially the back! Good luck with making the decision!

I've done some looking, but there are so many threads that my head is starting to spin, and I'd appreciate any input you ladies might have on specific resorts that you got married at or have visited and dealt with the wedding department at. Thank you so much! I got married at Riu Ocho Rios, as many other brides have here on BDW. My experience was more than I could have expected & I'd definitely recommend the Riu. Try doing a search of ROR here on BDW & you will find a ton of reviews. I hope that this helps!

Bridal Gowns Informal bridal bridesmaids Prom Flower Girl Quinceanera Stores Well if the owner measured you properly & if you know that you are going to lose some weight in the next few months, then why worry? When your dress comes in, and you have your appt for the fitting, you'll be able to see how it fits at that point. So to me there's reallly no reason to stress out about it now. I say relax & be happy that you have ordered your dress!

My problem was just walking in the sand itself on the way to the aisle & ceremony site. I wore flip flops but they weren't totally flat, but were kinda wedge like which caused me to be kinda fumbly. I really had to resist the urge to kick them off while I walked. I definitely suggest flat flip flops, or going barefoot. If you do wear any kind of flip flop with a heel or wedge, I'd definitely practice walking in them on the beach & in the sand a day before the wedding, just to get an idea of what you're in for.

I did use an aisle runner but my dress still had sand in it. I did have rose petals scattered over the aisle runner but with the wind, the petals really blew away. I think that no matter how hard you try, you will end up with some sand on or in your dress. Keep in mind you have to walk on the beach in the sand before you even get to where the aisle & aisle runner would be. Also, if you plan on taking pictures on the beach you will undoubtedly get sandy! It all really depends on what you want & the look you're trying to achieve. In hindsight, I probably could've done with out the runner! You definitely don't have to worry about the sand ruining your dress. I didn't have a problem at all.

Does that mean it is going to rain the whole time I am there I am sooo excited for you & can't wait till you get back with pics!!! Have a wonderful, wonderful time!!! Oh, fyi...we got our marriage license last week, so that was about a 2 month wait. You will definitely be a MRS when you return. You don't need the official license to sign your name MRS & you can sign your name with your new last name if thats what you want. Also remember, you will get a temporary marriage license while you're there so that will be your proof that you're an official married woman! LOL Also, don't worry about the rain...weather.com predicted rain for us too and I don't remember it raining but 1 day! HAVE FUN!!!
