It is also a lot bigger than it looked online, but overall I am very happy with it. I used the same set. To get it home I kept all of the bubble wrap & basically re-wrapped it around the vase, with the sand still inside of it. I then took some hand towels & wrapped the hand towels around the bubble wrap. I took that and then placed it in a small carry on bag & it got home in 1 piece!
  2. Congrats! Glad to know that the rain didn't stop you from having a wonderful wedding day! Can't wait to see the pics, especially of a Mammee Bay ceremony!
  3. Great review. Glad that everything turned out the way that you wanted! Congrats!
  4. I just caught up on everything that has been going on with you & I hope that like everyone says, you try your best to put all of this behind you & go have the time of your life!!!!! You definitely deserve it!
  5. I love your pics & they are beautiful! Your cousin really did a wonderful job. Congrats again!
  6. Has your FI picked up her dress yet? If so, the dress should already be stuffed with tissue paper. You just carry it just as it is. Mine was in a garment bag & stuffed. There really isn't a "nice" way to handle it or carry it. On the plane it was hung up in the first class closet. When I got it to the hotel, it was fine and didn't need any pressing or steaming!
  7. 8 weeks already Geez time flies!!! She is definitely a cutie!!! Thanks for sharing & making me smile while I'm at stinky work! LOL
  8. I watched this every week. DH didn't understand my addiction, but I loved it. Thanks for the info Starchild!

Photocopies and notarized copies are not acceptable for passport purposes. 10. Uh, ok, and you don't like them why? LOL...I think they turned out great!
  11. Oh oh...this doesn't sound too good! Your pics look great so it looks like you had a great time! Come on, spill the beans! LOL
  12. I used the temporary certificate to do name changes to my credit cards, and other personal accounts. Basically I took some time playing around with it to shrink it & then I just faxed it to the companies that asked for a copy of my marriage certificate. I had no problems with using that at all! It wasn't until I got our real certificate that I was able to change my name on my ss card & my drivers license.
  13. Very nice! Your dress was beautiful! Love that shot with everyone in the pool. Congratulations!
  14. Jenn I love how your album came out. I've been thinking about getting one for the longest & you may have just convinced me. I know what Robin has been going thru with her hubby & really didn't want to add anything else to her plate. I guess we'll see. Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone know if they are that strict about the 30 days? Does it usually take that long for mail to reach Jamaica? Maybe you should ask her if its okay for you to send her an email with the copies of the documents. I know that many brides here on BDW have done that & she accepted it. Then maybe give it 1 more week & hopefully she will receive your documents in the mail. I sent mine less than 30 days & it wasn't a problem.
  18. Congrats & Welcome! You will really love Maui. We went for our HM & stayed at the Grand Wailea. It was really beautiful!
