Jon & Kate plus 8 *series finale tonight 11/23*
JUSTUSTWO replied to Alyssa's topic in Celebrity Gossip!
Christine I just saw this too & immediately thought that this is crazy. How is he now suddenly "regretting his conduct"? And now he wants to "regain control over the future of our family"? Yeah right...All the interviews he did bashing Kate & flaunting his newfound relationships & girlfriend...Puhleeze....Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think this is all too coincidental considering that TLC is moving on without him in Kate Plus Eight! I only hope that the kids aren't scarred for life from this situation, especially since its playing out in the media. -
Wonderful Noms...Good luck everyone!

If you feel that you must do something to make your legal day special how about planning a nice, romantic evening out, with just you two. Like Morgan suggested you could always do that the day you pick up your certificate. I do agree though with the other ladies that your DW is going to be more memorable & special!

Very nice Heather! Love the belt...changing into that for the reception is a great idea. Can't wait to see pics of everything on your day! -
Welcome back & Congrats. Glad to hear that everything went well, except for the noise at your reception. Can't wait to see your pics!

Although, I am a stay-at-home Mom my rambunctious 1-year-old is a super active baby who thrives on attention most of her days. Add schoolwork & keeping up with my reading assignments each day into the equation, along with my household chores & I am left with little time to myself! Plus, DF gets home at 5:30 & he craves my attention during the evening hours...he's much like our 1-year-old...haha I appreciate all the suggestions ...is there anything out there around 30 minutes that is high-intensity. I won't have trouble keeping up, but I need something challenging but not too time-consuming. Thanks in advance, ladies I don't have any recommendations for a specific 30 minute workout, but if you go with any of those already suggested, since you have time constraints why not just do as much as you can do in the 30 minute time frame that you have & then pick up where you left off on the next day. For instance, since Jillian Michaels workouts are done in level's, you can see if you can do 1 level or part of a level in 30 minutes. And since she combines cardio & strength you'll definitely get a mix of both in a 30 minute span. Also trust me, she is intense. If level 1 doesn't do it for you then you can move to level 2, then 3. So really, you're customizing any workout to fit your schedule. KWIM?

I've recently become a Jillian Michaels fan & find her video's very helpful with cardio & toning. I use the 30 day Shred & No More Trouble Zones. I really like the fact that she is constantly moving in the videos & that she combines cardio & strength. I don't use them as much as I should but I can tell you that my cardio has definitely improved with both of those workouts! As in the thread below, if you subscribe to On Demand with your cable company, check to see if you can find the No More Trouble Zones workout that way you won't have to buy the video. Here are 2 threads that discuss both: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t29554 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t45604

Hmmm...I got the mini packets of Purell wipes because they were easier for me to pack. I then just put a few packets in everyone's First Aid Kit. But now I'm thinking that you always see people with the mini bottles & they would also be just as conveinent since they could just throw them in their beach bags /OOT bags. Oh something that I just thought of...for me the difficulty with the packets was that I never knew if the amount I gave them was enough for their time there. Since they were individually wrapped I just gave them a certain amount. At least with the mini bottles they know that it has to last them for the time that they are there & you don't have to ration them out. KWIM? Which were you really leaning towards?

As busy as she is you'll probably never catch her in her office. Have you already confirmed your ceremony/schedule with her?

Is the food they serrve different from the food regular guests would get at the buffet & restaurants? Thanks a bunch! I think your menu depends on which restaurant you're having your reception at. For instance, my reception was at Mammee Bay & we went with the standard menu there. In terms of quality, I loved our meal as did all of our guests. Everyone felt that it was the best meal they had over the 4 day period, with the exception of Tushima. I will say that I think that they do make it a habit to serve better & larger portions for weddings. I was there last month & everyone that traveled with us this time, who was with us last year commented that the portions were bigger for the wedding. I tend to agree. But our server was great & he bought guests 2nd entree's if they requested them. So all of this is to say that I don't think you'll have a problem with the food for your reception, especiallly at Mammee Bay. And I don't recall hearing complaints from any ROR bride who had their reception at the Plantation. If you don't like the menu options for Mammee Bay or the Plantation, then you can definitely upgrade them. You would probably find some of the items on the wedding menu at the buffet but maybe not all of them. But St.Ann's definitely has a lot of choices at dinner. I really loved the nights that they cooked outside & served special dishes. Those were really good! Just remember that with your reception at Mammee Bay or Plantation, the main course is served but that there is a buffet for salad & other sides.

There was a post a while ago from a BDW member who DIY'd her BD pics. She totally did them herself using her camera & her timer. I can not for the life of me remember who it was, but I'll try to find that thread since she did post some pics. They came out great & you would have never known that she did them herself. Also, there's another thread around where someone posted websites that had inspiration poses. It was posted in a BD related thread. Definitely do a search for BD here on the forum & you may find that one too.
