  2. Welcome to the forum. There is alot of great info on this site and someone will be able to help you find your white sand.
  3. Welcome! The photos look beautiful, what a great site you made for your guests.
  4. Has anyone heard anything about air fares going back down? It's just weird because in early October PR was $250 and now the cheapest is $416! Yikes, FI and I were hoping to pay for the parent's tickets (6 all together) and helping my brothers out but now this will blow our whole budget.
  5. It's beautiful and no it is absolutely not supposed to move within the setting. Ask the jeweler to check the integrity of the prongs just in case they were weakened becuase a just set stone should be snug as a bug.
  6. I voted medium but also like the shaved look too! Boy Heidi, a man of many styles-you must never get bored
  7. Welcome Helen, is your daughter on here also? What fun a tag team would be! My mom isn't even interested in the wedding.
  8. I've been told we are not getting gifts by some people and others have encouraged us to register so we are going to register and link it to the wedding website and call it good.
  9. Heres a cross-eyed version of me....I don't live too far from Lucy's birthplace
  10. WElcome and happy planning!
  11. Wow, those distorted shots are really neat! Really nice pics!
  12. Get a cheap book, cut a square out of the center, and hide your jewelry in there if you must take it off. Thieves ignore the bad bed-time reading!Chlorine is bad for all jewelry but the small exposure of a pool for a week won't do major damage. The biggest concern is chlorine weakens gold which can then damage your prongs causing the stone to fall out. Again, this is usually prolonged exposure.
  13. oh boy, I told my FI b/c he is also an IT person and he about fell off his chair!
  14. That is horrible, sorry I also have no suggestions as I am a PR bride. What did the TA say?
  15. welcome, you have plenty of time to plan the perfect wedding.
