Wow, it has been a very long time since I was last on this forum and what a change! Everything looks great Tammy! I recommended a friend check the site out as she considers a DW and thought I'd pop over myself, I need to relearn how to navigate it!

Has anyone sent a PM out to Leslie? She wouldn't need to log on to read it, it may help to hear from someone who she was close to on the forum that could pass on all the well wishes.

You may want to check with your travel agent, the last few times I've been to PR there were no AI's but hotels change frequently, especially when there is a change in management like when Paradisius became Gran Melia. Many of your guests may expect a set up similar to Sandals when they hear AI but add on packages that include food/drink/activities at PR hotels are not quite the same and more expensive than the AI chains. A la carte is sometimes more economical. There is usually a large bridal show in february/march where you can meet with hundreds of vendors in San Juan which might also be helpful.

Dos Angeles in Rincon is nice and inexpensive. It is considered a guest home so it is not very large but was quiet and clean when my husband and I stayed.I believe there are four or five different rooms. It is a little ways from town but we had no issue getting around or just hanging by the pool.
As far as all inclusives, PR no longer has any resorts that fall under this category. There are some, especially near Rio Grande where you can add meal plans and such. I have always found that I can do as well or better than an all inclusive when staying in PR though. You might lose some convenience but half the fun is being exposed to so many different places and people! Good luck ladies, Puerto Rico is a beautiful island!
