  2. I've made these before and they are soooooo easy! But you do need a sewing machine. You get a bath towel and hand towel of the same print. Fold the hand towel in half and sew one end together to make the hood. Then attach the long end of the hand towel to the long end of the towel. I'm sure there's a better way to explain it, but hopefully you get the jist.
  3. So I finally got my act together and took the pictures of the luggage tags... I have 25 of these that I bought for $1 each And I have 24 of these (6 of each color) that I also bought for $1 each
  4. I am so sorry, I just realized I never posted the pictures about these luggage tags! It's been a long week...I apologize. Anyway, I have 25 of these that I bought for $1 a piece... and I also have about 24 of these (6 of each color) that I also bought for $1 a piece Let me know if you're still interested Thanks
  5. Spinning rocks! I'm so jealous you have RPM there...we have very small gyms where I live, so they don't offer those classes. But, everytime I go to my parents' house for the weekend, I hit a spinning class. I've got a really good gel seat that helps with the sore bum (they're pretty cheap too, i think i bought mine at sports authority). And the best part about spinning is that you can burn up to 700 calories in an hour long class (or so they tell me!)
  6. I never received a price from him because I don't think our resort will let us have these, but this is the picture he sent me...
  7. Here's one I did, but I made it more like a brochure... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t15374 The attachment is on post #8
  8. My seamstress recommended to stuff it to the gills with white tissue paper, so it's filled out like someone is in it and then to put it in the garment bag or try to fold it over and put it in it's own duffel bag. The tissue paper should keep it from wrinkling too bad and help maintain it's shape.
  9. All of my groomsmen are outdoorsy so we are gettting them the cooler... Burton Lil' Buddy (True Black Bright Stripes) - Insulated Cooler Bags' It wasn't my idea though, I totally stole it from someone else.
  10. My MOH got me a custom return address stamp with my new name...it's adorable and I'm dying to finally be married so I can use it! PR-160: Return Address Styles: Custom Stamps: The Stampin' Place: Rubber Art-Stamps, Accessories and Custom Stamps
  11. Here's a snack recipe that was just handed down to me... Jell-O Sugar-Free Vanilla Pudding Snack + Canned Pure Pumpkin This ROCKS! Simply combine the contents of a pudding snack cup with ½ cup of canned pumpkin. Mix well and, if you like, add a little Splenda and/or pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon and nutmeg). This treat is not only delicious, it's filling, too. One pudding snack with 1/2 cup of pumpkin has 100 calories, 1.5 grams of fat and 4.5 grams of fiber for a POINTS value of 1. Going home tonight to try this one out!

  13. My wedding is at 4pm and my coordinator told me to make my appointment at 11am. I haven't done it yet because it seems a little early, but that's what she suggested.
  14. Just wanted to add my two cents - everyone raves about Christian!
  15. We are doing the same thing. Instead of a rehearsal dinner, we're taking everyone out on a sunset cocktail cruise. My parents are in Cancun right now checking into this, but this is the company we're hoping to book with... Wind Games – Catamaran – Cocktail Sunset Cruise for Groups
  16. I made two seperate little baggies...one has a tag that says "For Montezuma's revenge" and it has tums, immodium, and pepto in it and the second says "for tequila's revenge" and it contains lots and lots of advile
  17. Okay ladies, I'm scared for tonight...I work at an event center bartending in the evenings and every night we turn in all of our tips and then about every 3 weeks we all go out for dinner and drinks with the tip money (I'd personally rather keep the cash, but I got outvoted). So tonight is our tip party night. We are going to Houlihan's because they have half priced appetizers during happy hour...yay, fried food! I worked out this morning and saved all of my extra weight watchers points for the week for tonight's outing, but I'm still scared about the booze. I do want to have a few drinks, but I'd like to do it the healthiest way possible...is there such a thing as healthy alcohol? I was thinking light beer would be the best option cause wine and mixed drinks are so sugary, but then again, they don't call it a "beer gut" for nothing!
  18. I appreciate the effort! I never even thought about buying them in white and having them dyed - problem solved! Thanks again
  19. Let me start by saying my FI has a serious shoe fettish (weird, I know). So i bought a pair of really pretty satin ivory peep toe pumps for the wedding and asked him if he liked them..."Not really" Hmph! So I started a search for new ivory wedding shoes. I found a pair on ebay and sent them to him. He sends me an e-mail three days later "Those are hot, I love them...buy them!" Well, the bid is closed and I e-mailed the seller and he doesn't have anymore. So now I'm getting desperate - I'm trying to find... Franco Sarto is the designer The shoe is called Nocturn I need it in a size nine in ivory (i can find tons of them in white - none in ivory) Please help - Thank you!
  20. I finally told me FI about this contest and that the prize was $495. And I said that I could buy alot of really cute clothes for our wedding trip with $495. He responded with the fact that it would be smarter to use any extra income to pay off things we owe money on (which is everything). I told him he was right and that if I did win I'd use the money to pay off something. And he didn't miss a beat...his response was "Paying off the credit card that you use to buy really cute clothes for our wedding trip doesn't count" Dang, he's good! It technically would be paying off something though
  21. I have a bunch at home that I was planning on selling eventually. I'll get some pics tonight and e-mail you tomorrow.

  23. Yay, I'm not alone! I'm having a damask themed wedding in Cancun. Mine is mostly black and white with accents of pink and red. Here's my bridesmaid dresses...they're not exactly damask, but they tie in with all of the other damask things we're doing
  24. I got mine... -their dresses -jewelry from macy's to go with their dresses -a coach wristlet (so cheap at the coach outlet - seriously like $17 a piece) -and a tiffany blue leather luggage tag (b/c it is a destination wedding after all and who doesn't love anything from Tiffany's!)
  25. I just realized that I now have to purchase a scale. We don't have one at home because they are just too scary! I guess I could do my weigh in at the gym, but I'd be totally mortified to take a picture of the scale in front of everyone...oh well, off to target I go.
