Just breathe! I swear sometimes they don't know how much stress they cause! I asked Perla to quote me based on the Fantasy, Aqua and Wish quotes - they are all essentially for the same things but I wanted to see if there was a price difference. In terms of the hor doeurves - we didn't like the Fantasy at all and it was going to be $15 per person to change so if there is a package that you like from the hor doeurves it may be cheaper just to use the WISH and build on from there. I think each additional appetizer is $3 per person. The appetizer packages all include 1 hour of open bar (as does the Fantasy). If you use the PRC speaker system for the reception and hook up your ipod to that I believe that the cost is about $450. If you go with a Package the mic and speakers are included for the ceremony only so you would either have to pay extra or use a DJ. She quoted me $150 for the Aqua cake but that is based on 40 ppl - yours would be $50 I think (based on the package she sent me!) Fire away more questions! that seems like a lot - just priced it for your dates on Expedia for this year from the 11th to the 15th with these flights: Washington DC (DCA) to Montego Bay (MBJ) Depart: 9/11/08 2:20 PM - 7:00 PM American Airlines American Airlines Montego Bay (MBJ) to Washington DC (DCA) Return: 9/15/08 2:55 PM - 9:50 PM American Airlines American Airlines and it's $750 a person all in!

If it's in Word, just go to print, and then select printer from drop down - you should have ADOBE ACROBAT as an option for "print"

My TA told me the same thing about the brochures - but she was able to call the distributor (for a package) early and get estimates probably about a year or so out!

Well in all honesty I wouldn't recommend my TA. She isn't great - we used her because she was a friend of FI's mom - but to date I haven't been very happy with her.

Becks I am sooo jealous! I am trying to convince FI to do a weekend but not sure if the cost is any less than a week - are you booking the flight and hotel separately or through a package? In terms of changing the hors doeurves - I believe that Perla quoted me $15 pp for the Fantasy additional because basically we wanted to change all the appetizers! LeShay - Love your idea about the chair bows - not sure I wanted to spend $4 each for them if I can get my own! Still struggling with photography though - Cannot decide what to do in terms of flying someone down etc. I feel like I need to get going on my DIY projects - I don't want to save anything til the fall!

We are using a TA from Alberta and she was able to get us packages almost one year out - that being said - airlines do not schedule their flights more than 330 days out so really you are looking at a quote for the hotel (which is estimated based on a certain % increase each year - I think what I would do is try and get a quote for November 2008 (which is when we are getting married!) and use that - we started pricing for November 2007 early in 2007 and the rates for Nov 2007 are similar to November 2008! SOrry that's a bit of a rant - Hope it makes sense!

Wow Abbie! Did that cost include the transportation/accom for both?

I guess I didn't fully explain myself! I just felt that when I emailed him and specifically said that we booked in 2007 and Perla quoted us the 2007 rates - he still tried to quote me with the higher 08 rates... just thought it was a bit sneaky!
