Welcome fellow Canadian! We are only about 1 hour from each other!

I placed an order a week ago (didn't pay yet) and haven't heard anything so I thought I would follow up - I called today and cannot get through..

This site was posted in a number of threads and is based out of ONtario Canada. The website says they sell bouquet jewels and cake toppers. When I try and call both their numbers are out of service. Has anyone ordered from them?

Is the set menu something they are charging you for per head or is it something that is included since you aren't taking over the restaurant in full?

What are you guys doing for a welcome dinner on that note? We were thinking of blocking off a section at the Mexican Restaurant but I am curious as to what you girls are doing. Becks - when you booked Carlos did you also have to confirm with Swank (to have their person on site?)

Hi girls! Been away in Vegas for a long weekend which is why I haven't been around! Jeanne - so relieved that things were perfect - cannot wait to see more pics and get more details - you looked gorgeous and the flowers were beautiful! I haven't done much in the last week cause of the vaca - but I haven't heard anything from Perla and Elisa on a number of fronts! erggg...

Yeah it was weird - I emailed Perla to confirm about them not charging the outside vendor fee. She said she was going to forward along my email to Swank who responded with a "if there is anything else you need let me know"... I think I will probably go with Carlos..

Good to know! I didn't realize that you know other brides that have used him - guessing they were rather pleased... I should probably confirm with him sooner than later - Interestingly enough Swank sent me a nice email today to tell me the prices for using another DJ - wondering if he is worried about losing business!

It is such a hard decision - my cousin is just starting out in the photog business so we were thinking about asking her - in the end I haven't seen enough of her work to know if it's even "good" - We have looked at a number of different options - someone in Mexico, bringing someone in from the US, etc. I think what we will probably end up doing is flying someone down with us for the week. We wanted to capture the wedding "week" - it was important that the pics told the story of the week and we were able to find someone who is new to the destination wedding business which was a bonus for us (price wise) and a bonus for them to build their destination portfolio.

Those are absolutely to die for!

Glad to hear that you are getting good vibes from Mannia - I just hope that Swank doesn't give him a hard time - I keep picturing a bit of a turf war although Mannia seems like the best option and the nicest guy! I did confirm in writing today that we wouldn't need to pay the $300 outside vendor fee if we used an outside DJ which is a good sign. Curious BECKS - did you have to put down a deposit with the remainder due at the wedding?
