    For us photography was a top priority and as a result we decided that the best way to capture everything we wanted while we were in Mexico was to have someone travel with us. Yes it's more money but for us it was an opportunity to use a great photog team (Visual Cravings) and get pics of us, our families and friends throughout the entire week!

    For me it was a trade off. I knew that if we wanted a private reception we would have to pay extra. The bar cost seems a tad ridiculous although I decided a long time ago that I would rather pay a little more at a resort where the WC's emailed and responded to my quieries and requests daily and bent over backwards to provide assistance and information than save some money and be stressed and frustrated!

    Funny that FI went to the tailor today cause I have been on his ass for a month - came home with a huge smile since the tailor told him they need five weeks! I told him more like 8-10 for personal sanity!

    Like the previous poster said - it really depends on how much you want to do/be involved. I am in contact with the WC a couple times a week going back and forth on everything from menus, flowers etc. We are also going for a site visit in September to arrange everything so trying to finalize the stuff for that as well. What about DIY projects? I am working on my OOT bags now and also my ceremony programs, fans, etc. But if you aren't into DIY then I wouldn't worry too much!

    Time flies! I joined in August 07 for a wedding this November (200 - I cannot believe that I am 6 months out!

    They even ship free to Canada which is awesome! I have been paying out the wazoo to have stuff shipped to my FBIL in New York and then he is shipping to me in Toronto!

    I have been working with spiritsupply.com and they have been absolutely fabulous. The minimum number of cups you have to order is 50 which is less than any other site I have found. They will use your artwork (thanks Sarah for the monogram!) single colour and cups are about $1.30 a piece! Great thing is shipping is free! I should have my cups in the next week and will definitely post pics!

    Welcome Veronica! A friend of mine is getting married at the MC next month so hoepfully I will have lots of information to report after that!

    We are having our ceremony at 3:30 as our photog suggested that so we could do pics after and get the sun set. I am stocking up on summer clothes, bathing suits and stuff for our kids OOT pails now as I know the fall and winter stuff will be out by mid-july!

    Crossed two things off my list last night - went for my first fitting and found my veil! My sister (MOH) got her dress so that is another thing done! I also found this great site for cups with a custom logo - Spirit Supply Store. You only have to order a minimum of 50 and they are $1.30 each with free shipping and your logo on both sides. I will let you know how those turn out!
